Highly recommend this day tour! It’s a full day of beautiful scenery that’s totally worth it! Paul was a fantastic tour guide!

This was a great tour. I believe it said 13 hours, but it was more like 15, which makes for a long day. Our guide was David who we found to be quite friendly and knowledgeable. The castle tour was interesting. It involved a lot of steps if you wanted to see everything. The Cliffs were beautiful. We had just the right amount of time at every spot. Dave did all he could to make sure we had a great experience.

Paul was SPECTACULAR!! Funny, just the right amount of talking/information that was relevant and interesting! I loved that he brought in current events happening in Ireland as well with the elections and new laws going into affect. He was great with everyone on board and made everyone feel welcome. Even if we were two Vikings fans in a bus full of Steelers fans. Obviously the destinations speak for themselves but this rail tour was worth every single penny!

All the stops on this tour are inspiring, full of history and beauty. Add to that the countryside along the way, and you enjoy a full day of Irish experiences. Paul was a great guide, full of personality and good information, keeping us on schedule without rushing us. This train/coach trip involves lots of walking, so be prepared. Visit Ireland!

Loved the tour and the guide made the whole experience absolutely exceptional! Paul O. shared facts about each stop along the tour, including things we saw from the coach. He knew the best places to eat and had suggestions on what to do first. We laughed and joked with Paul and the group really enjoyed the experience. I was traveling alone, but the interactive nature of the day made my solo tour completely comfortable! The castle, Cliffs of Moher, and Galway were all stunning and exactly as described.

Highly recommend taking this tour, especially if you have never vacationed in Ireland. Paul, our guide, took great care of us the entire day. He was efficient with time and well prepared at each stop. Having an expert like Paul made our tour to each place easy. We did not have to stress over the unknown and maximized minutes at each location.

Just prepare yourself for a long day however, coupled with the train ride, great meals and the scheduled stops, the tour guide sealed the deal. We enjoyed our guide Norman and the tour bus driver Michael. Definitely well worth it.

The train ride was a quick way to get to Limerick and the Irish countryside is beautiful. You don't stop in Limerick (based on the description, I thought we did)--just drive thru to the castle, which gives you a feel for the life of different types of people. Next was lunch at a pub on the way to the Cliffs of Moher. It was fine. The fish and chips were great. The cabbage and bacon were not what we expected. The Cliffs were beautiful but incredibly busy. I recommend seeing them but I don't think I would go back. The cliff hike is closed because a few people Darwined themselves last year. The Burron was AMAZING. I will be back to spend more time exploring. I loved Galway. A beautiful but crazy busy town. The only issue was with the train ride home. We were told we needed tickets before getting in line. Based on something our guide said on the bus about issues with our seats, all of us were under the impression that he would be bringing our tickets to us. As the time for the train to leave started creeping up on us, we decided to try the tickets in our welcome package. They worked. So, if you find yourself in a similar situation, those tix work although they don't really look like they should. The guide was OK, but he would talk about sites that were coming and we wouldn't see them (his timing wasn't great).
