Ireland's Iconic Duo: Cliffs of Moher & Aran Islands Cruise
This unforgettable day tour departs Galway at 9:00 AM, travelling by coach along the scenic Wild Atlantic Way and through the rocky limestone landscape of the Burren to the charming village of Doolin. From there, take the express ferry to Inisheer, the smallest and most traditional of the Aran Islands. Explore a 10th-century castle ruin, a sunken church, a shipwreck, and a peaceful beach. Walk the island’s quiet boreens or rent a bike or pony & trap for a more immersive experience (extra cost). After your island adventure, the ferry returns to Doolin and continues with a spectacular cruise beneath the towering Cliffs of Moher, a truly unique view of one of Ireland’s most iconic natural landmarks. Prefer not to cruise? You can disembark at Doolin Pier and wait for the group. Next, enjoy a traditional Irish pub meal (not included), then spend an hour exploring the top of the Cliffs and admire the vista. We return to Galway via the stunning coastal route, arriving back around 7:30 PM.

Dave was a great driver and guide. The day we went the ocean was extremely choppy and it was rainy and blustery. It was still well worth the trip + it cleared up at the cliffs which provided spectacular views.

Excellent tour. Hitting all the great spots. The ferry ride by the cliffs of Moher was a spectacular experience and sights. The weather was cold and raining. Dress accordingly. The views were still well worth it. Dave the driver and tour guide was excellent, safe driver, and very informative.

We had such a great day! We absolutely loved this tour – the scenery was stunning, and we were lucky to have beautiful weather too. Dave, our guide, really added to the experience with his great sense of humor and all the interesting information he shared. We can only recommend this tour – it’s a must-do!

My husband and I took the Doolin, Aran island and Cliffs of Mohr tour. It was a cloudy, cool and rainy day but our tour guide, Dave made it a wonderful adventure. The scenery is breath taking to Doolin. Dave pointed out local points of interest as well as stopping to feed Maggie, the donkey. We took the mini bus for a tour of island of Inisheer. You could walk, rent a bike, take a minibus or ride a horse drawn carriage. Dave, our tour guide gave us the advantages and disadvantages of all the choices. Back on the ferry to the Cliffs of Mohr. A bumpy ride due to the weather but we were fortunate, the fog lifted so we saw the Cliffs. Then back to Doolin, lunch (at an excellent Irish pub/restaurant) and the return bus ride. We took a different route back to Galway. Dave entertained us with music, imore history and interesting info about the area. One of the most enjoyable tours we took on this trip. I highly recommend it especially if you get Dave as your guide. Thanks Dave!!

The bus driver/tour guide was fantastic. I don't know how he drives and does such a good job informing us of the areas we are driving through. The transfers from bus to boat and back again were easy. The pub where we ate lunch had delicious food. It is a jam packed day so there wasn't time to linger over lunch. We had a good amount of time on the Aran island and at the cliffs of Moher.

Our tour included seeing the cliffs from both the land and the Atlantic. I can't say enough about why you should do the Cliffs this way. 2 completely gorgeous yet different experiences. During the water part we saw dolphins swimming in our boat's wake. A bit of luck there. The tour also included Doolin. I'm so glad we got to see it. Our tour guide was Dave. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. As an added bonus, when not telling us about what we were seeing, he had a very fun playlist mix of traditional Irish music and mellow top 100's music. We highly recommend this tour. If we could give it and Dave 10 stars, we would.

This tour was a highlight of my Ireland trip! Our guide Dave was funny, knowledgeable, and made the drive fly by with great stories about Irish history and the areas we passed through. The Aran Islands were incredible – we had about two hours to explore on foot, and the walking path offered beautiful, peaceful views. The Cliffs of Moher were stunning from both the water and the top. Seeing them from both angles made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Ireland!
