We had an incredible time on the e-Jeep tour of Gozo — truly one for the memory books! The setup was perfect: we followed our guide Joe, who led the group in a tuk tuk, while we enjoyed the freedom of driving our own e-Jeep. It was the best of both worlds — independence with the added bonus of a knowledgeable guide showing us all the hidden gems and sharing fascinating insights at every stop. Joe was absolutely fantastic — friendly, informative, and clearly passionate about Gozo. His guidance made the day seamless and full of surprises. From stunning coastal views to charming villages, every moment was a delight. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique and fun way to explore Gozo!

Not as advertised! We booked a self-drive guided tour of Gozo in a small, quiet electric-powered car as shown in the advert. What we got, eventually, was very different! Upon arriving on Gozo, we located our guide and were advised that we and another couple were passengers (not self-driving), in a large dune-buggy type vehicle. It was only when I showed the guide our self-drive confirmation, did he reluctantly tell us that we'd have to go to the "garage" to pick up another vehicle. The "garage" transpired to be a shed in a farmyard. After completing much paperwork and being advised we have to pay a considerable insurance excess in the event of any damage (not previously advised) we got underway. Our vehicle was not the small, quiet electric one advertised, but an extremely noisy dune-buggy identical to the one he collected us in. No electric vehicles in sight! To be in with a chance of conversing with your partner, you need to shout very, very loudly! Once underway, the tour was worthwhile. Our guide was good fun and we saw the hi-lights of Gozo. The lunch was nothing special, OK at best. Be careful. You'll be directed to be passengers in a vehicle. If you do manage to self-drive, it will be in a very noisy dune buggy and you have to agree to pay an insurance excess in the event of damage. Don't expect anything special for lunch!

Our guide Joe Camilleri kept us well informed of the historic sites that we visited…as we followed him through the streets of Gozo he always made sure we were safe.

Overall, this was a great way to see Gozo in one day and I would recommend it for those short on time, especially the self-drive option (if you are comfortable driving), as it added a fun element to the experience. However, I didn't give 5 stars as there were a few differences/clarification to the original tour description which could have been handled better. 1. Mini-van pick-up to the boat was perfect and on time (8am). We arrived at the port and got on the boat to Gozo with all the other people doing buggy/quad/tuktuk tours. 2. When the boat reached Gozo, it's chaos! Everyone is searching for their tour guide; all tours start from the port so it can take a while to find your guide as it's so busy. There's no explanation given, you just figure it out for yourself. We eventually left the port with our guide at 10am. 3. The biggest difference was the buggy - it was not electric but a petrol Segway buggy - the same that our guide/passengers was driving. Although it was still fun and perfectly ok, I was disappointed as I specifically booked the electric buggy to avoid the loud engine noise and petrol fumes from the normal petrol buggy, which I've driven before and wanted to avoid. The tour description should make it clear or we should be told in advance of the change. 4. We didn't stop at Ggantija temples, which was on the itinerary and a must see in Gozo - it wasn't explained why. 5. The other big confusion was the final stop at the Blue Lagoon. We boarded the boat with other tour passengers for the final swim spot at Blue Lagoon, however the boat stopped in the water off-shore and not on the coast, like most people thought. Most were wearing their normal clothes and there was no privacy on the boat to change into swimwear. So only a few people swam and others just sat on the boat for 20 mins. Although we were told there would be a swim stop, a little extra information about changing before boarding would have been helpful to the passengers.

First, we were given a Segway jeep instead of the vehicle shown in the photo, which we actually considered an upgrade! It was way more fun! Our driver leader for the day, David, was absolutely the best. We called him the mayor of Gozo, he knew everyone! Make sure you can drive yourself, it was way more fun that way, other guests had to be driven. Lunch was good, and all the sites we visited were awesome.

The tour was very well organised on Gozo and thanks to Michael we had a great time! So fun to drive the e Jeep yourself, following Michael and Barbie around Gozo. We will most definitely come back to Gozo and if Barbie survives her little ordeal, we would gladly follow her and Michael anywhere. The boat trip and the visit of the blue lagoon at the end was a bit of a dissappointment. It was the whole package of the day that drew us in. Luckily we had the pleasure of having Michael as our guide to make up for the ending.

We were delighted with the tour led by Kristijan and Emilio, excellent guides, they explained everything in detail and took us around Gozo, so we would definitely come again. I recommend the tour.

It is so much fun. I highly recommend. You get to see the whole island and try some Maltese food for lunch.
