**Due to the impact of severe tropical cyclone Jasper and the associated flooding, there have been some itinerary changes to ensure you still have a great time in the Daintree Rainforest.**

The temporary itinerary includes: return transfers from Cairns, Port Douglas and Northern Beaches, Scenic Coastal Drive, Daintree River Cruise with light morning tea of coffee, tea and biscuits, Interpretative drive over the Alexandra Range, Guided beach walk, Lunch in a rainforest setting, Tropical fruit ice-cream (included), Daintree River ferry crossing, Mossman Gorge guided rainforest walk on a selection of trails and elevated boardwalks (easy grade), visit the Mossman River Lookout and Suspension Bridge and enjoy an invigorating freshwater swim (swim is subject to river conditions).

Experience the magnificent and untouched UNESCO World Heritage-listed Daintree Rainforest, the oldest living rainforest in the world, on a day trip from Port Douglas. Spot crocodiles in the wild on a river cruise, sample locally made tropical fruit ice creams, marvel at the beauty of this World Heritage-listed site from Alexandra Lookout and take in the rainforest from the forest floor with informative guided walks. Learn the amazing relationships the Kuku Yalanji still have with their land and experience these diverse environments. Get an insight in to the history, culture and traditions of the local Aboriginal people and the area. Walk through the world’s oldest living rainforest, see natural wonders, the majestic Daintree river, and where the rainforest meets the reef, explore coastal habitats learning about the environment, different foods and medicines utilized from nature, sample some bush tucker, swim at one of the pristine freshwater streams in the area before returning to your accommodation.
