Andalusia's Heart: Cordoba, Carmona, Mezquita from Seville
Leaving Seville, we will make our way through Andalusia and arrive at our first destination on the journey, Carmona. As you walk through the ancient streets taking in the buildings, most of which are painted a stark white. You will come to understand why this historical town is nicknamed ´´ The White Village´´. After our time in Carmona, we will move to Cordoba. This special place contains art, ancient streets, and history from a combination of cultures. The ancient mosque features extraordinary architecture that spans eight centuries. Cordoba also contains a jewish quarter that is home to the only synagogue in Andalusia. Walk through the Andalusian patios and take a chance to enjoy the local cuisine. When the time comes, we will board the shuttle and head back to Seville (return to Seville at approximately 19:00 hours).

Cordoba itself is a beautiful UNESCO site along with the impressive mosque-cathedral and its really good local guide - what I liked almost the best, and to keep in mind if you want to buy some crafts on you trip to Spain, this town is known for its artisans and their workshops - the rest of Spain buys from Cordoba - I love buying from the source - ONLY THING - if you are interested, the tour is timed so that you should go to shops and ateliers when you arrive (skip the town tour, although the flower-filled patios are lovely) because they shut down for midday. Then join the group again for lunch (the guide's choice was very good) and the tour of the Mosquel. What I liked the best about the tour, and a reason in itself to take this one, is to spend a day with the tour guide, Antonio. He is from the area, with a large deep-seated family spread throughout southern Spain, has a personality larger than life with many colorful, funny stories (and opinions) to tell. He is also very knowledgeable of Spanish history as well as many inside places to experience in Seville.

Well organised trip, with several joining points in Sevilla.. Tour available in several languages Our guide , Pia , was knowledgeable and enthusiastic , and happy to answer any questions from the group about the extensive history of Cordoba and Carmona . The guide in the Mosque Cathedral had so much information to share about the building and it's history . Well delivered.

Cordoba day trip is a must if you are in Seville. The travel to Cordoba is less than 2 hours and there’s so many things to see. The highlight of the tour is the incredible Mezquita and its amazing architecture! And the experience was made more informative and enjoyable with our guide Ivan!!!

The guides, Merced and Driss, were amazing. They offered interesting history with a fun, kind approach. They were animated, friendly, professional, and interesting. They looked out for us and checked in to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying the time.

An excellent day all around. Stop at Carmona not great as a bit too early and as it was Monday everything was closed but a pretty and historic town. Cordoba lived up to all expectations with well timed visit and clear details and instructions from our guide -Daniella. Lunch stop only 2star!

While our tour guide was really fabulous and very informed the tour itself kind of wandered around and lacked direction. I would also suggest that there be 2 separate tours one in English and one in Spanish. It’s really ridiculous to have one group wandering around waiting for the guide to finish in one language only to have to then repeat the same speech in another language. It’s just inefficient.
