Unforgettable Kulen Mountain & Sacred Waterfalls: Small Group Tour

Highly recommend! Absolutely beautiful national park, stunning waterfall- definitely expected it to be smaller! Swimming in it was a magical experience. My guide Sam was fun, very knowledgeable and catered to all our needs. Delicious lunch!

This tour was an absolute highlight of my entire trip and one of the most special memories I will carry with me forever. From the very beginning, everything was organized perfectly — smooth hotel pickup, comfortable transportation, and a friendly atmosphere throughout the day. Our guide Mr. Sam was simply amazing — one of the kindest and most genuine people I’ve ever met. He treated every one of us like family, calling us brothers and sisters, and made sure we felt comfortable, cared for, and always smiling. His knowledge about the history of Kulen Mountain, the sacred sites, and Cambodian culture was incredible — and he explained everything in such an interesting and engaging way that we were excited throughout the journey. And on top of that, he’s a fantastic photographer! He captured some of the best pictures of me from my whole Cambodia trip. 📸 A big appreciation to our driver Mr. Sothea as well — a very kind and polite gentleman who was always waiting with cold water bottles and refreshing towels, ready to pick us up exactly when needed. Such thoughtful hospitality made the entire trip extra comfortable! Our group had 10 people, but honestly, it never felt like anyone was a stranger. We laughed together, enjoyed stories, and had the best time — all thanks to Mr. Sam’s warm energy and fun sense of humor. The places we visited were breathtaking — the beautiful waterfall, the refreshing swim, the peaceful nature, and the sacred sites on the mountain… every moment felt magical. The views from the cliff were unforgettable! And the picnic lunch was one of the BEST meals I’ve had on any tour — delicious grilled chicken, rice, and lots of fresh fruits like banana, lychee, dragon fruit and many more. I really loved it! Vegetarian options were also available, which is amazing. Overall, the food was worth every penny and added so much to the experience. I have so much more I could say… but most importantly: This tour is a MUST-DO in Siem Reap! Truly a 10/10 experience and highly recommended to everyone traveling here. Fantastic experience. Our guide (Jan) was outstanding – funny, knowledgeable, and informative. The different locations were stunning and it was great to learn so much of the history of this beautiful country and its people. Many opportunities for questions throughout the day, which addressed expertly by Jan. Also, great driving from our Driver (Mr Moon). Would 100% recommend this tour.

We went on the Kulen Mountain tour with Jan and Taeara and had a wonderful time. Jan was very knowledgeable about the mountain and was very happy to share and answer questions. It was a very worthwhile experience, with beautiful sights and plenty of photo opportunities.

It was an amazing trip with the best guide Mr. Makara! I like the way he starts the tour with some background information about Cambodia.

This was one of the best tours of my life. Jan was the best Tour Guide I've ever had. His communication before and during was excellent and timely, from the day before until the conclusion of the tour. He let us know what to expect in overview and what was coming next, what to bring at each stop, when we could leave stuff in the van, and any precautions or important details along the way. Everything was included and I had an absolutely carefree, fun-filled day. The points of Interest are very well ordered. Every stop was a highlight: the beautiful scenery at the cliff, the delightful vendors making delectable treats from scratch, the beautiful reclining Buddha and temple area, the 1000 lingam river and of course lunch and the waterfall. The snacks and lunch were authentically Cambodian and absolutely delicious. I felt well looked after while having space to explore and take in every moment. Jan also took wonderful photos and videos and knew the best vantage points. It felt like we did so much while also going at a perfect, relaxed pace. Lucky's driving was excellent. He brought us safely and swiftly to each location and welcomed us back to the air conditioned van with refreshing cold face cloths and water. I can't thank Jan and Lucky enough for this wonderful day I've had. I only wish I had done it earlier in my visit so I would have time to do another tour with them before leaving Cambodia.

Great day tour with Mr. Sam! He was very pleasant and outgoing. Helped make the day extra fun with his jokes and knowledge. He treated us to freshly baked Palm cakes on the way there and back. He also took great photos of us and made sure we ate a good lunch. Although the waterfalls were too strong to swim in this season, we still had a lovely time and the weather was good. I have been to Phnom Kulen 8 years ago with my family, but it was nice to be there with my friend and Mr. Sam was a great tour guide! He was very patient with my more limited Khmer vocabulary and I felt he truly enjoyed his jobs and his clients! Thanks for the good time, Mr. Sam!

Unbelievable day. He was so so helpful and went above and beyond with absolutely everything. I don’t normally write reviews but I had to with this one. He made a lovely lunch with traditional touches and had so many stories / facts about this history of the trip and Cambodia as a whole. Visiting temples and the Kulen waterfall / forest was a day we will never forget and especially thanks to him. Just overall and beautiful human being and made our day 10x better than what it would be with any other tour guide.
