Maz is a history teacher and really knew his stuff! We enjoyed the fine details and the delineation of what was known fact and what may have been propaganda or just plain embellishment for the sake of a good story. He kept us engaged and moving. But, also gave us brief periods of rest. We learned a lot! I found myself comparing our past history with current events after the tour. It is true. History repeats itself. Entertaining, great stories, and some pleasant exercise. Well worth the price!

This was an INCREDIBLE experience. Our guide, Maura, was so knowledgeable, witty, and passionate about the history of Boston. The 2.5 hours flew by- I didn't want it to be over. She is fantastic. I learned SO much and saw so many beautiful sights. Boston is my new favorite city. 10/10 would recommend!

Cyrus was superb in his knowledge and delivery of description of the beginnings of our democracy. His passion for the story was thoroughly evident. Concerned with everyone getting their questions asked and answered. Highly recommend.

Mikayla was excellent! Her masters in history and knowledge of Boston history was vast, she handled our many questions very well. Her articulate speaking complimented the wealth of information provided. I highly recommend. I'm sure all the guides are wonderful, but you're very lucky if you get Mikayla.

Eric was a fantastic tour guide! A true Bostonian, he previously worked at The Boston Globe and now leads tours while finishing his book. We had such a great time exploring the Freedom Trail with him — it was easily our favorite part of the trip. What stood out most was Eric’s down-to-earth personality. He wasn’t putting on a show or wearing a costume — just a genuine local sharing his city’s history with passion and humor. He answered all my questions, gave great insight into each site, and even shared restaurant and neighborhood recommendations for the rest of our stay. We took four tours while in Boston, and this one was hands-down the best. Take this tour — you won’t regret it!
