Unforgettable Great Ocean Road Eco-Adventure from Melbourne

I joined the Great Ocean Road tour with Aleks and had a fantastic experience. She provided so much interesting information about Melbourne and the Great Ocean Road, adding context and stories that made each stop even more memorable. Aleks has a great sense of humour and made the tour both informative and fun. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Melbourne — it’s an excellent way to explore one of Australia’s most beautiful regions!

We left a very rainy Melbourne at silly o'clock, but Naomi our guide soon had us awake with a bit of Men Without Hats. Her enthusiasm and upbeat commentary got the trip off to a cracking start. The trip includes a stop off at a surf resort Torquay. Tea/Coffee and muffins are laid on before moving on to Apollo Bay for lunch (not included but plenty of decent options), via a quick stop off where we had the chance to see a koala in a tree. We then had an impressive stop off at a rain forest, then the big one. The 12 Apostles. Finally we stopped off at Loch Ard Gorge which is perhaps even better as more low key but equally impressive. A long day but it doesn't feel it as you are always just around the corner from the next gem, plus Naomi keeps a decent commentary going, not full on, but great content with a decent bit of humour chucked in. A great day out in extremely good hands. Would recommend.

We had the best day with Naomi who was very knowledgeable in every aspect of our trip. Naomi was also fun 🤩 Definitely recommend this tour.

It was a very long day. A lot of driving time. Our tour guide Aleks was great, full of fun facts and knowledge and cared for us very well. We do have one complaint though. The second last double seat is behind a raised double seat. We happened to have no choice but this was our seat. This meant that we had no view in front of us except blue seat backs, and the raised platform meant that we had no foot room upon which to stand to easily exit and enter our seats. This was very frustrating and left us somewhat discontented. A lot of driving for the 5 stops that we had.

Robbo, our guide was smart and funny. Very passionate about showing his country. There were good stops on the way to eat lunch and dinner. The ride was beautiful. We did a decent number of breaks. Seats on the van were a bit cramped.

Was great seeing all the sights and was planned out brilliantly. Aleks was great throughout and helped whenever she was asked!!

It was a great tour, our Guide Jai was really nice and we really enjoyed our day! We even saw koalas and other animals etc thanks again :)

What a wonderful day with fascinating sites, narrated by James C. The landscape was varied and beautiful. We were fortunate enough to see an akidna and some koalas. James C. provided interesting history and information. It is a full day but the pace was comfortable.

Everything about the tour was exceptionally good. James C our driver/guide was outstanding and worked his backside off to make our trip very special. My one criticism is the minibus used.. it was way too small and uncomfortable for a trip of this length.

The tour was fantastic, saw beautiful beaches, walked in the rainforest, koala spotting and lots of stop offs. James C was brilliant, very informative and make the experience - thank you very much, would defo recommend :)
