Unforgettable Giza: Private Half-Day Pyramids & Sphinx

When traveling, I usually do my own thing. But for Egypt, I decided to have a private guide and driver. I'm glad I did. My guide, Wael, communicated with me prior to my trip via Whatsapp. We exchanged photos to facilitate the pick-up. They picked me up from the airport (I paid extra), took me to the Giza pyramids right away upon my request (my flight arrived before lunchtime), brought me to see papyrus products and oils, then brought me to my hotel. I was able to relax and enjoy the experience. Thank you, Wael and Osama!

Donia was a lovely and reliable tour guide during my trip with my 2 sons for the Giza Pyramids. She studied Egyptian Archaeology and that you notice all the way. Very informative and Donia is a nice human being. Highly recommended. I would not hesitate to book an other trip with her if we visit Cairo again :) Chapeau.

This tour was worth every penny. The guide Ibrahim Allan and the driver Ezzat were very friendly and welcoming people. We talked a lot about various subjects, the explanations were great, and the photos he took... 1000 out of 10. After the pyramids, they dropped me off at the GEM, where I visited on my own. If you are traveling alone to Egypt, or even in a group or as a couple, this tour is definitely worth it. Shukran.

My friend and I had an awesome time, and the tour was well worth the price. Our tour guide Mohamed Elshemei was exceptional, very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job navigating us through everything and explaining everything as we went. Our driver Samah did a wonderful job, and kept us safe on the busy and chaotic Cairo streets. The shops we visited were very interesting, and it was as much a part of learning about the culture, as were the pyramids and the Sphinx. And lunch was delicious. My only regret, was only having half a day to explore and learn (but that was due to my limited schedule). I definitely want to go again and take a longer tour.

Have a half day to spare? Spend it with Nader, my guide for this, exploring the pyramids! His driver picked me up at my hotel and I met him just before entering the pyramid complex. Rode a camel, went inside one of the burial chambers, got a bunch of pictures, and learned lots of little quirks about the building of the pyramids (like how one was built with more carefully made stones). Grabbed some papyrus souvenirs, had a tasty lunch with him after and was dropped back at my hotel. Seamless experience end to end. Was all inclusive of the various fees as advertised too and we arrived early to avoid the crowds.

It was an amazing experience to see the pyramids and sphinx up close. Our guide, Hadeer, arrived on time and was so friendly and knowledgeable, which made the visit even more meaningful. She was also great with my young son, answering his questions and keeping him engaged. We chose to enter the first pyramid (not included in price), which was also quite an experience (but probably not a good idea if you suffer from claustrophobia!) Overall, we really enjoyed the experience.

This was a fantastic tour. Our guide Sara was extremely knowledgeable and friendly - we lost one of our tickets to the pyramid and she spent 30 minutes on the phone with the ticket company helping us sort things out so we could get in. Highly recommend all around
