Puebla & Cholula: Pyramids, Culture, Colonial Charms Day Trip

Gabriela was amazing! She made the tour very much enjoyable and personable. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Although, the drive can feel long, it's a great opportunity to get out of the city and enjoy the mexican views. Puebla is a beautiful state with lots to offer.

Puebla and Cholula were simply stunning and the guides made sure we saw only the best during our tour. Our guide could speak spoke Spanish and English which was absolutely incredible

This tour was great! Most of the people in our group spoke Spanish, but the guide still explained everything in English for us. He also answered all our questions in great detail, which was really helpful. We had about 90 minutes at the pyramid, which was totally enough. It’s just a bit disappointing that the tunnel was still closed. The included meal was pretty standard for a day tour in Mexico, so don’t expect anything too fancy or delicious. Since I was traveling solo, I really appreciated how friendly the other group members were. They helped me take pictures, and even the tour guide did too! Overall, I’m really happy I joined this tour, and it was lovely meeting some group members from Colombia!

Our tour guide did not let us look around Cholula or Puebla. The trip felt rushed and some were complaining because he didn't let us roam around. Most tour guides have a meeting point to meet back at a certain time to let the tourist shop or sightseeing but not this tour guide. Some people still roamed around as he showed us a 5th Church and he said next time we roam around like that he will move on and we can take another bus because he will not wait for us.

This day trip covers a lot of ground. Do not expect to see any of Cholula's many architectural splendors or local town's charm its zocolo, for example). What you will see is the enormous pyramid topped with and enormous colonial church. You will see some of Puebla's considerable beauty, but time is limited due to the amount of ground covered. The guide and driver are genial.

We saw Cholula a little bit of Pueblo but honestly it was kind of a mess. The agenda was too ambitious and not well organized--multiple items had to be removed from our itinerary. I liked the tour guide, but I think it was just too many people for him to manage.

Disjointed, unorganized mess of a trip with a tour guide that just never stopped talking about any and everything. The included lunch will certainly not appeal to everyone because of the limited selections. Nice van and safe driver, but all in all it was worth it once we finally got underway.

Our guide Rogelio was an outstanding, friendly and informative guide to Puebla and Cholula, The adventure is a little long and I would probably recommend leaving out Cholula which was okay but the high point of the excursion is beautiful and charming Puebla with it's churches, central square, charming streets and people
