Amazing adventure with our lovely guide Tereza. Felt well looked after and guide very knowledgeable and friendly. Tereza managed well with a couple from our group that struggled a little and day went as planned. Early start and late finish but fed well and looked after. Good to have a fair level of fitness for this tour. Lots of steps. Some steep parts. Slippery when wet. As I'm used to hiking I thoroughly enjoyed it. Some amazing beautiful views all day. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting! We had an amazing guide, Mirek, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire day fun and engaging. He shared so much interesting history and local insight, and really went above and beyond to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves. The tour itself was a great mix of sightseeing, walking, and learning — a perfect way to explore and get a real feel for the area. Be prepared though, it’s definitely a bit of a workout! I was absolutely tired afterwards, but it was 100% worth it for the experience and memories.

Robert was amazing, giving us a custom tour of the Saxon and bohemian Switzerland parks. Knowledgeable guide, great planning, and great conversation. Even brought extra rain gear on our hikes - and we need it! I would highly recommend!

Fabulous tour that included some incredible stone formations and panoramic views of the Elbe River Valley. The hiking is moderate but it helps if your are in good shape. Quite a few stairs and inclines but that’s where you get the VIEWS!! Breathtaking!! Our guide Mirek was phenomenal! 5 ⭐️

Alex was on time in picking us up! He suggested efficient modifications to our trip and we all agreed. Turned out to be perfect. We avoided the crowds at Bastei Bridge lookout points and enjoyed our hike with the extra showers that made it cooler :) Alex was consistently reminding us to be careful. Tisa Rocks are majestic. There were stories here and there that made the hike fun. One of my favorites is the Lion’s Head that reminded of Mufasa on top of the rock overseeing his kingdom. Disney should make this its filming location next time. It was a great experience and special thanks to our brilliant, and kind guide. He took us to a local restaurant that served an amazing hot cocoa and risotto! Thank you!!!

The views that you get to experience on this tour are simply gorgeous. It's a tough and tiring series of walks, but they're all so worth it! Our tour guide, Robert, was also exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable about everything on the tour, of course, but also he had a great knowledge about Czech history, politics and so much more - we very much enjoyed picking his brain all day! Could not recommend this enough - it was the highlight of our Prague trip.

Our trip with Robert was fantastic! From seeing incredible rock formations, to tight gorge valleys, as well as salamanders and deer, we saw it all. Robert shared plenty of knowledge about the various sites we visited and his humour made the trip all the more enjoyable. Also worth mentioning, the restaurant at lunch was authentic and the food was delicious. I'd definitely recommend the trip to others and if you want a guaranteed good time, ask for Robert.

Our tour guide Robert was absolutely brilliant! He arrived promptly and was very personable and knowledgeable at each of the locations! A really great experience overall!

- A current valid passport is required to take with you
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
- Comfortable walking shoes and clothes for nature walk are recommended

- Duration is only approximate, return to Prague around 7 p.m.

- For the Pravcicka Gate option, you need to be able to walk at least 5 km (3 miles) with an elevation gain of about 250 m (820 ft) over uneven terrain and some steps. This hike is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or health issues.

Greetings from Bohemian Switzerland national park, and the Bohemia Adventures team. Thank you for your reservation. Our professional guide will meet you between 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. in front of your accommodation at your Prague address. The return time is usually between 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. but it may vary depending on the pace of the group, etc. One day before the tour we will email you an exact pickup time along with the weather forecast. Please, do not forget to take your passport (ID) with you as the trip to Germany is part of the tour. As you have booked a hiking option, we recommend wearing hiking boots or sports shoes suitable for uneven surfaces. An à la carte lunch and a snack pack with water are already included in your tour. If you have any dietary preferences such as vegetarian, or vegan meals, please let us know. You need no special equipment for the tour, only clothes comfortable for movement outdoors and a daypack may come in handy. We provide free walking poles, raincoats, etc for you to borrow. If you choose the EASY OPTION, instead of the hike to the Pravcicka Gate, you will have extra time for self-guided exploration of the picturesque village of Hrensko (the center of the national park). It is necessary to remember that steep stairs are located at several parts of the trail on the way to reach the boat ride and the same on the way back. Therefore we do not recommend taking this tour in case you are healing from any injuries with your ankle, leg, knee, etc. Please let us know if you have any concerns regarding this. Our guide can advise you during the drive to the national park to decide whether the Boat ride or the Pravcicka gate hike (longer in distance but not so steep) is better for you. Besides the aforementioned stairs, the rest of the tour around Bastei Bridge goes along rather flat and very well-maintained trails, and they're easy to walk on. Enjoy your tour!
