Dali's Surreal Catalonia: Figueres & Cadaqués Dream Tour

Our all day trip to Deli Museum and House were very educational and interesting. It was nice to see a countryside in Catalonia while driving. Our driver and a guide Anatoli was pleasant and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Delhi. We learned a lot. Value for money was fair.

Anatoli was wonderful! Picked us up from the hotel and took us around. He was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable about Dali. The museum was great as well as the smaller towns we visited.

We had an excellent day visiting 3 interesting sites. Although the Dali museum is accessible by train, the other two are not so it was very helpful to ride in a comfortable car with a skilled driver. Our guide, Xavier, was personable and knowledgeable and really enhanced our experience with his insights into the artist and the historical context. The seaside town of Cadaques was a lovely spot to have lunch.

Incredible outing to Cadaques and Figueres with Xavier, who showed us around inside the Dalí theater museum in Figueres, which is “the largest surrealist art object in the world”. After, an amazing lunch and gelato stop in academies before proceeding to Port Lligat to see Dalí and Gala’s home and studio and the beautiful natural surroundings that inspired him. If you have time, be sure to walk around the front of the theater museum to not miss the view from the outside. Xavier had great communication with us in advance so that we were confident all the details were taken care of. The vehicle was very comfortable and he was an excellent driver.

This was a very long day but so worth it!!! I wish we had more time for the beach town but when you do a tour that is the only downside the rush to get from one place yo the other, not guided faint she was wonderful! I just loved everything so much I wanted more time!:)
