What a fantastic tour. Easy to find the meeting point and we enjoyed the short wait to enter. It is difficult to explain how it feels to see all those masterpieces a d buildings. Our tour guide Marina was awsome. Great knowledge and pretty funny. We had a fantastic time

We’ve been to the Vatican multiple times & this was hands down our best experience! Our tour guide, Cosimo was incredible! He gave us interesting formation that we’d never been given before, while also moving the tour along in a timely manner. He was knowledge and fun! Also I need to note that his explanation/information about the Sistine Chapel was exemplary and made our experience in the chapel that much more meaningful. Highly recommend Cosimo!

Crowds, so do this as it is a “cut the line” tour. I was surprised that much of the art and sculpture in the Vatican Museum related to the Greeks and Egyptians and were not Christian, apparently the idea is to provide a sense of the world and their beliefs prior to Jesus’s birth. Compared to my previous visit the crowds were much larger and there were restrictions about how one could traverse.

The meeting instructions were pretty clear and the group of 20 never felt too big. Davida, our tour guide calmly negotiated the crowds and facilitated our smooth entrance into the Vatican museum. There is so much to see and hear about. Davida was an excellent tour guide, he was so knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. We were all provided with radios receivers and headphones, so it was incredibly easy to hear what Davida was saying.

This was a great tour! The directions to the meeting spot were clear. We had a fantastic guide, Sylvia, who was very informative and friendly. She was considerate of those who needed to use the elevator due to mobility issues while keeping the tour on track. While the tour could only give us a brief introduction to the Vatican, due to its length, it was a very good value. Highly recommend!

Visited as part of this tour end of October, expecting the crowds to be a little quieter however, it still is very busy given the Jubilee year. Despite that, the museum and tour organised our group (20 of us) to keep moving as much as possible and we did see more of the artefacts on show. There are still some queues but Mary our guide was super and kept us interested with facts and stories and we learnt a lot, a fascinating place to visit. There is personal time in the Sistine Chapel which was appreciated to take in the significance of the location and history, the brochure given to us helped with extra information. We opted to visit Tuesday as we realised that Wednesday morning the Basilica is not available and we were glad to have seen inside. City Tours were great - their instructions are exact and all wearing the blue tshirts which make them easy to spot on the steps.

This was a great experience. They made it really easy to navigate through the crowds. Our tour guide who I think was Vorlono was really knowledgeable.

I am not sure if this was our exact tour but MG was EXCELLENT!!!! Talk about a passionate guide who knows her stuff!!! We signed up for a small group and it was worth it!!! Thank you MG for a memorable tour!!! ❤️

Fantastic tour guide! Cosimo was outstanding- he shared so much information with us! If you come to Rome- you must do this tour or you will regret it!

While we endeavour to tell tour groups ahead of time if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible and in these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts.
