Excellent tour with Jamie, who went over and above to show us the beautiful city of Montevideo. We feel like we got to know him really well during the tour and he is clearly an extremely knowledgeable and experienced guide who is very committed to giving clients the best possible experience. Everyone in Montevideo knows him which was very helpful! Would highly recommend this tour.

Blanco Tours provided an excellent tour of Montevideo. This was our first time in Uruguay and we were a party of 10 (two families including six young adults in their late 20s/early 30s). Andres Blanco, the tour company owner, was very knowledgeable about food, history, culture, politics and helped plan a custom full-day tour that included something for everyone. Belen, our tour guide, accompanied Andres and was also very knowledgeable and had a very engaging personality. She answered LOTs of questions. Our day felt like we were having a local experience in addition to seeing the major sites. It was super helpful to have Andres and Belen together versus having one guide and someone who was only a driver. Both spoke excellent English which was helpful as we only had one fluent Spanish speaker in our group. The tour was a good mix of walking and driving with stops for food as needed. We had the chance to walk around Independence Square, the agricultural market where we had some artisanal beers and ended the day with matte and churros! The van was comfortable and had air conditioning and wifi. We highly recommend this full day tour.

Had a terrific day visiting Montevideo with Andrés. Booked the tour late on a Sunday for the following day yet had excellent communication with Andrés early Monday AM for a 10 AM pick up at our hotel. Terrific tour in a comfortable van around major sites then walking tour of old town. Extremely informative regarding history, customs, food. We highly recommend this tour.

Our tour in Montevideo was fantastic. The guides were professional, approachable, and made the experience enjoyable. Despite having just one day, we were able to visit many sites in a short time. We arrived at Montevideo Airport at 10:30 am, and although our time was limited, booking this tour was definitely the right choice. The only downside was missing the stadium where the first World Cup games were held due to time constraints. If you have a brief stay in Montevideo, I highly recommend this tour!

We had an incredible time with our guide, Andres! He picked us up and dropped us off on time, was very likeable/personable and genial. Most importantly, he really knew a lot about Uruguay and taught us so much! He took us all over the place in a short period of time (but it was PERFECT...not too busy...exactly what we requested!) I love how he took us up to the 22nd floor of City Hall for the views, taught us the proper way to drink Mate, and showed us some incredible historical sites. Plus I may have had the best steak I've ever had in my life at the market...Overall, I would VERY ENTHUSIASTICALLY recommend this tour to anyone else, and all my friends (there were four of us) completely agree. Andres gave us an incredible tour experience :)

Andres and Mauro gave us a great tour of Montevideo. We learned a lot about the city, how to navigate it, and places to explore further. Mauro speaks great English and was happy to answer our questions and share Uruguay. The van/bus is very nice, and being driven around allowed to spend most of our time seeing the sights and learning about them.

Andres and Belen gave us an amazing tour to our family in Montevideo. They were very flexible to accommodate our teenager preferred experiences and our family loved the tour. In addition, we learned a lot about the local culture and also suggested great places for us to visit after the tour. We would highly recommend this private tour and as a plus the vehicle transportation was very modern and comfortable.
