The trip started very badly. We were notified to meet at an address that did not exist, then we tried calling the number provided, but a message said the number was not in service. I sent message via the Viator site-- no reply. We asked several people nearby for help, and they tried. After about 30 minutes of this frustration, the boat captain phoned, apologized and told us where to drive to meet him. Then he took us, and other passengers we did not expect, to a different boat. Instead of boarding from a dock, we had to first ride in an inflatable launch, then have a difficult boarding by climbing over cables. Once aboard, the trip itself was quite enjoyable, with a good breeze filling the jib. The skipper was responsive to our many questions, and provided some glasses for our wine. Disembarking was similarly challenging, with the climbing. Needs some opening of rails and something sturdy to hold on to.

We loved it! Great views and our skipper was very friendly and answered any questions we had. There was a change in dock location and they made sure to tell us ahead of time.

Great skipper Borko, and I really enjoyed the scenery and stories. The view was amazing and he helped me take some nice photos.

This was a fun little ride, but unfortunately not a top notch experience for us as a whole. I booked this excursion directly through their site - €50/person for a two hour sunset cruise with 0,4 wine and a plate of prosciutto and cheeses. After booked you get an email that says your order is being processed. By 15:30 that day we hadn’t heard from them so I emailed them, they said they didn’t have our reservation, so I forwarded the receipt. Finally they told us when and where to meet and sent us the welcome email. This email then tells you that wine and cheese is not included but that the price you paid is apparently lower than it used to be… great. We also didn’t notice this detail until after the trip. A year and a half into Covid you would think that they could just update the description on their website, right? Anyway - our skipper was kind and gave us water. It was a small boat which was intimate but not exactly comfortable. It was a good 2 hours but I wouldn’t sign up for longer and I’d recommend a better dinner and to BYOB.

best Sunset Trip ever! The Skipper Petar was really friendly. It‘s really recommendable when you‘re in Zadar! You‘ll Never regret it!

Everything was well organised, communication easy, everybody very flexible. Skipper, Petar, very nice. My family had the sailing boat exclusively for us which was brilliant. Due to COVID no wine and traditional food was served which was a shame! I do completely understand that you have to stick to it but unfortunately no price reduction or any extra feature instead...

“This couldn’t have been a better experience. We were greeted with a smile and a sense of calm warm welcoming way. David and Petra were both easy going(like the Croatian way of life) but still full of life and knowledge. It felt as if we were visiting friends somehow even though we’ve never met. They were so open and had great knowledge about Zadar, from history to advice on all the questions we asked. We didn’t feel rushed and didn’t feel uncomfortable at any time. It was private due to it being my boyfriend and best friend attending and it was very cosy. The view out into the ocean was as promised spectacular from the initial sunset to after the sun set and the clouds lit up in other colours. We gained knowledge of the islands as well that we were so curious about. We would recommend this above and beyond and can’t wait to return to Zadar and see the bigger boat next time ;)”

Luka was the best skipper ever :) he made us feel very comfortable and secure. It was not only a sailing trip, more a sailing trip with good friends! We would do it any time again because we had an unforgettable time in Zadar :) best day ever. Thank you for this unforgettable trip where we found new friends ! :)

Josh was very relaxed and funny, just a great person to talk to. We had a really nice conversation and we laughed a lot. He also let us steer! The view was great as well, of course. definitely worth it!

This trip was really not what we expected and we left feeling quite disappointed. Shame really, as it was a birthday present for my husband and also our last night in Zadar. I had booked 2 weeks in advance and booked directly on the tour operators website. I received a confirmation email of payment, but no further details on where to meet, timings etc. So the next day I emailed them to ask for this information, the day after Tibor (owner I think?) emailed me back with a few basic information and said the tour will probably start at 6pm vs. 7.30pm due to the sunset being earlier now. He said he will email again with details on the meeting point and timings. Fair enough I thought, we’ll wait.. So fast forward to the night before the tour... still nothing. I emailed them again (this was around 5pm) and asked if the tour is still going ahead tomorrow and what time/where to meet. 3hrs later (8pm) I get a reply from Tibor to say we’ll be meeting their skipper Josh at 6pm tomorrow and was provided with a google maps link for the meeting location. A bit last minute I thought.. but whatever, I’m just happy that the tour was still going ahead. We walked from Zadar old town to the meeting location, which wasn’t too bad and took around 30-35 mins. (On the way back we got an Uber). There were 8 people in total waiting to go on this tour (4 couples). The skipper was already there, dropping off passengers from the tour he had just done. We had to wait around 15 mins before departing though - this was due to several big boats coming in and dropping off their passengers. The skipper (Josh) decided to move out of the way and give priority to the big boats first, but little did he know that there would be so many boats coming in. Fair enough we thought, these things happen but I was hoping we would still get the full 2 hours of the tour. But nope, we were dropped back off and finished the tour at 7.50pm. (we set off at 6.05pm, meaning tour duration was 1hr45min). The tour description stated one bottle of wine or champagne was provided, along with cheese, prosciutto and olives. However, we were only offered beer in a can or red wine in a water glass (rather than a wine glass). The one bottle of wine is per tour btw - don’t be expecting a bottle per couple. Pre-sliced cheese (the type you use in a sandwich) and chorizo/salami slices were also put out for our consumption, but no olives. Josh the skipper had also helped himself to a can of beer and some cheese/meats, which I didn’t think was very professional of him. We were taken to the sea organ, but we had stopped there for a longggg time. It got to the point where everyone was silent, and I’m sure everyone was thinking “can we move on now?”... we didn’t go past university of Zadar and we weren’t told any history or facts about Zadar. We thought we were going to be taken further afield so that we could watch the sun set over the horizon.. but instead we just watched the sun setting behind the mountains - a view which we could have seen from the old town anyway. It seems that the skipper lives on the boat. He was dressed very casually - hoody, paint stained jeans and bare feet. It felt like we were on a friends boat or something... which is fine if we didn’t pay so much for a tour. But we paid €100 for the two of us, so I expected some level of professionalism from the skipper. Don’t get me wrong, Josh was a friendly and socialable person, but there needs to be a balance between being too laid back and being professional. Overall, I regret to say that I would not recommend this tour. If it was a lower price then maybe, but as it stands for €50 per person it is not worth it.
