We were thrilled to have an inside tour of the Sydney Opera House. It was great information and so cool to see both inside and out, followed by a lunch that was wonderful.

Knowledgeable and super friendly tour guide. Restaurant meal was delicious. Only drawback is not seeing behind or closer to auditorium stage.

The Opera House tour was good. Be mindful the dinner is good but not anything I’d go back for. We ate at The Opera Bar. Be mindful the drink menu is very limited- beer, wine, aperol spritz.

It’s very busy at the cafe level…. Wish we were able to book a concert or play while we were in town , would love to listen to performances there

This was a great behind-the-scenes tour of the Opera House, including the history of the site, the building, and a chance to see some of the spaces when not in use for a show. And the lunch at Midden was delicious—highly recommend.

If you're interested in the history of the Opera House and not just a photo op, this tour will be for you. Meet up point is easy to find. Nearby souvenir shop downstairs. Our tour guide, (Tim I believe) was friendly and very knowledgeable. You'll be given headsets so you can hear the guide clearly without someone shouting commentary at you. My tour included a dinner option with a choice of three eateries, however I opted out for another place. Ultimately, if you're in Sydney I would add this tour to your schedule. The history and architecture is amazing. Word of advice: Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to climb and descend A LOT of stairs. Not recommended if you're wheelchair bound or limited mobility.

This was a fantastic tour, although it felt a little hectic given how large the group was and how many people were there waiting for their own tours to start. We arrived 15 minutes early, and we spent some time browsing in the gift shop, and after purchasing a few things, the tour guide told us we would need to check our purchases at the bag check (no one at the ticket booth or gift shop indicated this would be necessary, so we felt misinformed and wished we had not purchased anything until after the tour). Our tour itself was very informative, and the sights were magnificent. I wished that the pre-set menus for the included lunch would have been made available prior to booking; the pre-set menu at Midden was very limited, which left me wishing I had booked the tour and paid for lunch separately to experience the full menu. Also, our tour guide emphasized that no photos should be taken during the tour to respect people’s privacy who might be in the pictures (so I promptly put my phone away), but then he let people take pictures and even recommended spots for taking pictures…
