Breathtaking Huacachina & Ballestas: Peru's Desert-Ocean Duo

Very well organized and Fiorella was amazing. She definitely lighten our day with her presence. She always kept us in the loop and was very helpful when needed. I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. I am really going to miss her energetic persona even when it was 5 am in the morning. I appreciate this tour for making it very enjoyable in every possible way. I love Peru!

Booked with Get your guide for the day trip, who responded really quickly to any questions we had. The day before we recieved the pick up time and gave us regular updates as to the progress the bus made, including a phone call when 5 mins away. It was worth the early start, the guide Fio was welcoming and helpful. Speaking in 2 languages throughout the tour and regularly used WhatsApp with meeting locations. Fio also helped with food options for lunch and tea. The activities themselves all included in the tour, were great fun!! We skipped the queues so we didnt get stuck in large crowds! The boat tour was really interesting and we saw lots of wildlife! The sandboarding and dune buggy was also brilliant, thanks to Olivers amazing driving! The bus had WiFi, USB ports, recliner seats and made the drives go a lot quicker! It was the safest driver we have seen since being in Lima! They were accommodating to us moving to a different hotel, dropping us off at a different location! The trip was worth every penny! Massive thanks to Fio and the team . The atmosphere was really positive and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We had an amazing time and will recommend it to anyone who asks!

From start to finish the experience was wonderful. Easy to navigate the tickets and great communication from the company on what to expect and help prepare for the tour. A great value for the money! Our guide Fio was amazing, friendly, well organized, helpful and fun! Our dune buggy driver, Eber was excellent and brought the thrills and fun. Amazing trip, the visit to ballesta's island is wonderful and the tour to huacachina is extremely exciting. Our buggie driver Gustavo made sure we enjoyed a fun ride up and down trough the dunes, like a dakar rally and our tour guide Fiorella, she is a beauty person, fun and very friendly, she always made us have a good time during the whole tour. Definitely I'll do it again with friends.

Awesome tour with Fiona, Jorge and Oliver. It's a long day trip but probably the best thing to do if you have a full day in Lima. The sand boarding, balleatas islands and the dune buggies were truly amazing. Would not hesitate recommending this tour to anyone. The bus is very comfortable even for taller people like myself. The WiFi on the bus is also a huge plus.

We were lucky that it was a beautiful sunny day during the start of the rainy season. The 2 hours mini Galapago boat tour was amazing! Got to see lots of seals, booties etc close-up. The dune buggy ride in Hucachina was exhilirating to say the least! Sandboarding was fun too! Very good price for what this tour offers you!

Absolutely phenomenal experience with Peru Hop, who have everything organised with great precision and care. I felt safe and well looked after, always safe in the knowledge that they were trying to give us the best possible experience. The App is fantastic and wonderfully flexible. Marjorie and Sol were brilliant - nothing was a problem to them both and they incorporated our tours seamlessly. The Huacachina dune buggy and sand boarding experience was inctedible

I joined a one-day Peru Hop tour that started well but quickly went downhill. The guide, Franklin, demanded I give up my seat so others could sit together, then tried to smooth it over by offering me a Pisco Sour. From that moment, I felt singled out and uncomfortable as one of the only solo travelers. Later, during the dune buggy ride, I was told to move again — embarrassing and unfair. I’ve traveled to 42 countries, and I’ve never been treated this way. Solo travelers deserve respect. I would not recommend Peru Hop.
