I’d like to recommend the day trip with Hadeer. She’s a fantastic guide with good recommendations. She guides us through the Giza pyramids and the Egyptian Museum.

We had a lovely time in Giza. I learn with Mohammed Wagih about the history at the museum. The Pyramids and the Sphinx was amazing to see!!!

My wife and I had an amazing day tour in Cairo with our guide, Doha. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and organized. She brought Egypt’s history to life and made the whole day smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend her!

The enter trip was incredible experience, though quite demsnding at Times. Be prepared -on several days you’ll be walking at 3,4,5 am to catch the Sunrise over historii sitek or to arrive as early as possible to about high temperature. All off guides were wonderful knoledgable and showed US the very best. I’d especially like to recognize Elham, Mary and her husband who accompanied is in the Nubian collage, Mohammed in Edfu, Mina, and Doha, who was with us on the final day. Each of them passionate their work. The agency could improve it’s communication with clients, as we were sometines informed about changes too late, but I must ackowledge that they worked hard to dolce problems and did their best to make up for any inconvenisnces. It’s important to remember that travel come with unpredictabilieties, and not everything can be planned in advance. Thank you! Overall, good time in Egypt!

Things the tour company didn’t tell you was about the tipping. We were asked to tip the whole boat, the staff was hovering over you the whole time, it was unpleasant. Communication was difficult on many occasions. Being fustrated and angry made the experience unpleasant at times.

We took the Giza tour with Ana, who was extremely knowledgeable and well-prepared. The tour was fantastic, and she even recommended a lovely essences and perfume shop. Thank you, Ana, for sharing your knowledge!

This is a sort of "tour of tours" and my guess is that the planning done by Nice Tours is rather difficult. They did a brilliant job of keeping me informed in real time, despite that. So let's call out some people in approximate date order, some of whose names I will unfortunately mangle and even moreso because I appear to have lost some of my notes: Ba4r who picked me up at CAI and Madne who gave an excellent tour of the Giza pyramids; Manuelle (who I forgot my cash and couldn't give a tip to, even though she was great) and driver Mohammed Kassem in Alexandria; Mary at Karnak Temple; Hanni in Abu Simbel; Mohamed Ati; and Demiana. All of my guides were top notch, very informative, and a joy to visit with. The crew on the cruise as well as the drivers/"wranglers" :-D for the ballon trip were also fantastic. On the downside, the communication between Nice Tours and my hotel in Giza didn't go so well. The room wasn't particularly good, the staff was the least friendly on the trip, they tried to charge me for things I wasn't supposed to be paying for, and they just didn't do in a timely manner what I have every reason to believe they were asked to do. So while Nice Tours really made up for it by giving me a place for a few hours in Luxor before my late flight back to Cairo, that hotel didn't do what they needed to when they had the chance. I'll also point out that as a solo traveller, I was "assigned" a table by myself in the back corner of the dining area. This is not conducive to conversation with others, and I've made more friends in the first two minutes on my subsequent one-day tours than I did in several days on the ship. Please don't assign seating in that manner. Fortunately, amongst the many Spanish speakers on the cruise was a nice family from Seville. Between the fact that their daughter's English is very good and my Spanish is half-decent, I enjoyed some time with them. Finally, the Egyptian tourism industry...ay ay ay. It sounds like some guides aren't getting work unless they're given five star reviews by the next day (it has taken me about five to get this written which is quick considering how I travel and after losing some notes, as mentioned). And if you only go on a couple of tours you might be able to stand the hard sell tactics of the people they'll take you to visit. But after a week with near-daily trips to see spices, scents, papyrus, stone carvings, and extremely agressive bazaar vendors? Enough already. The government or whoever is requiring this needs to reassess before the nascent tourist boom gets a bad name amongst travelers. In the end though, this tour was well worth the price. You'll see what most tourists want to see, learn a lot about Egyptian history from excellent guides, and it will cost far less than some others. With the exception of one day of running a gauntlet while leaving Edfu Temple, it was worth dealing with any problems.

Everything is very fluid, the tour guide Manal is very nice and explained everything clearly. A great tour to deepen the rich Egyptian culture.
