Unforgettable Teide: Sunset, Stargazing & Telescope Magic

Well worth the trip. We had a fabulous time. Isabel our guide made it fun as well as informative. We had the lovely Miguel driving and he did a fabulous job. I liked that We had some stops on the way up to have a chance to look at different views, grab a snack and drink and the all important, on a long trip, toilet breaks. The sunset was spectacular and a fabulous photo opportunity. We had a decent 3 course meal, and then on to some stargazing. The telescopes were brilliant. A word of advice though. We already knew because our holiday rep told us, that we would need to take something warm to put on later. as it would be cold in the evening. It was actually bitterly cold because there was a cold wind blowing. I had 4 layers on my top half and was still shivering. There were blankets on the bus for people who either didn't know, or thought it couldn't be that cold. It was! But it didn't spoil our enjoyment of a very special trip. I do believe that Isabel said Miguels real name was Miguelangelo

What an amazing experience! Our tour guide, Isabel, and our bus driver, Miguel, were the best! An informative journey to Mount Teide, with interesting facts and plenty of stops for photo opportunities. Our children aged 9 and 11 thoroughly enjoyed the trip, and were kept engaged throughout, thanks to Isabel's conversation and humour. The sunset stop was picture perfect, with a complimentary drink. The meal in the restaurant was delicious, especially the pumpkin soup on Halloween! The star gazing was an experience on it's own, Isabel's knowledge was incredible and we learnt a lot. The blankets were welcome against the cool breeze. We highly recommend this once in a lifetime trip!

A brilliant experience with a great guide. Very knowledgeable which was very interesting and made the excursion better than we had expected. Would recommend this tour, food stop was also good considering three coaches of people at once, very well coordinated and good was edible and enjoyable.

The tour was very well organized with sufficient stops and enough time to take pictures. Our driver Osvaldo was very skilled and our guide Elena was very knowledgeable and showed great concern if anyone didn't seem to feel alright. Make sure to wear layers and take warm clothes because it was very windy and cold above 2000 m. The organizers had also thought about it and offered blankets and warm or cold tea. I was impressed by the beautiful views, rock formations and colours in the park and will surely come back for more.

Very well organised, very informative on the journey, plenty of time to take in the stunning scenery, the going down of the sun was spectacular, we stopped a few times on the tour , one of the stops was a little village which was a splendid little place , the dinner stop was well organised and to be honest was spot on so 10 out of 10 there , the star gazing was top notch as well , all in all it was a wonderful experience and a must for anyone going to Tenerife

Comfortable coach for long trip up to Teide national park with tour arranged through Tui. Excellent guide who kindly found us seats at front as my partner has travel sickness. Probably wouldn't have booked if we had been advised before booking of windy road up to top and danger to those who are prone to travel sickness so many thanks to Daphne for sorting this out in terms of re arranging the seats for us when we were half way there and to young couple who agreed to move. Fantastic landscape and regular stops.Food at restaurant was ok but not great. However, main reason for choosing this trip was the star gazing which took place after dinner and this was underwhelming. The telescopes were not very powerful and we got three views. Other than the moon view, which was pretty good, the other two were very disappointing. Fairly clesr night but the views of saturn and twin stars I have seen clearer using standard binoculars at home in North Manchester with high light pollution. Tiny white dots would best describe. Excellent value for.money and great guides. Shout out to Daphne who was knowledgeable and very kind to me when I felt slightly travel sick on the windy roads up to Teide and moved me to a seat nearer to the driver. It is cold at the top of the viewing area so a jumper is advisable.

My husband and i really enjoyed this trip, the views are stunning ,the sunset beautifull , the meal we had was lovely and we enjoyed it. Nico our guide was knowagable and entertaining, A great exsperinece , would defenitley recomend

Eight hours of varied experiences. Lots of information from a knowledgeable guide (Nico) and lots of stops for views and photos. Stargazing and telescopes were brilliant and informative. Meal was fine and served its purpose.

Amazing day and night..great guide lots of knowledge and very funny .would recommend this trip 100%..very interesting to no the different stars and to get to see them and some planets.
