Ghent's Golden Age: Enchanting Canal Voyage

Even though the tour was to be in English, the guide went thru French and Dutch and English. A bit confusing when we were no longer in front of the building.

Fun experience. Great to see and hear information on the different buildings along the canal. Our guide was able to speak Dutch, English, and French. Remember to dress warm in off season.

This was a very interesting historical view of Ghent. The driver was informative and knew some entertaining aspects of the buildings.

I was a bit apprehensive to go thinking it was just going to be a tourist trap, but it really surprised me. The boat driver sole in English and French and went over the history of the buildings that we floated by. Even passed out umbrellas when it stated to rain. Excellent and especially with the 10 Euro cost.

Great tour. Able to sit after walking all day and take in beautiful views from the river, good overview of the town center and historical buildings.

This was relaxing & beautiful. Our guide spoke SO many languages & translated history for all passengers. It was scenic & fun for the whole family.

Nice Boat trip thru Ghent - tour Guide was hard to hear so we didn’t get much about the history of the city, but it was beautiful

We absolutely loved this boat tour! We learned about the history of Ghent and the guides told us many interesting stories.

Comfortable boat ride , beautiful buildings to be seen and explained by the boat operator. It was a hot day, individual sun umbrellas were provided.

Pleasant trip along the river, but sometimes it was difficult to hear and fully understand the guide. It was the day of a festival in Ghent though, so it may have been noisier than usual.
