We had a really great time with Kirsty who brought us to some of the best and loveliest winerys of Hawkes Bay. Kirsty knows almost everything about Napier, Hastings, wine and a lot more. She was so friendly, warm and welcoming and made it super easy for us to get in contact with the whole group. The wine tastings were fantastic. I would highly recommend to book a tour when in Napier!

Lovely little tour. The lady was very knowledgeable and a fantastic guide. We met some lovely fellow travellers and shared our experiences so far as we went through the tasting selections at 4 wineries. The wineries were unique and beautiful. Some pretty interesting and delicious wines were enjoyed. Plus the first winery has the cutest doggo!

Friend and I went 15th to 22nd Sept and stayed at Wai iti cottage in the Te Mata wine area and this was to coincide with the Hastings Blossom festival and Parade on the Saturday 20th. We were given free tickets for 2 seats on parade route ( we are in our late 80's ) which gave us great view of parade. Visited Askerne vineyard, ( just down the road from where we were staying )a snack lunch, also to Birdwoods Sculptures, and Sunday Farmers Market. An enjoyable 7 days

Our guide Kirsty was wonderful. Very knowledgeable about the area and its wines. We were so lucky to be the only ones on our tour. Experienced 3 lovely wineries and a delicious cheese platter.

Our tour was just the two of us in the end but it was brilliant. Kirsty was an amazing host, very knowledgeable, friendly and answered all of our questions! Even had a cheeky trip to the chocolate factory! Such a good tour, would highly recommend.

Very friendly tour guide. So lovely to be able to just enjoy the day with no one having to drive/navigate. Wines were lovely and so scenic.

Great insight into the making of wine. Interesting to see how different wineries produce their wine. Kirsty, our lovely driver was informative about the vineyards and the history of the land.

We visited 4 wineries when we did this tour in late June 2025. We were one of two couples on the tour and had a great experience with our guides Kirsty and Anil, who were so friendly, informative and passionate about their jobs and their hometown. We visited Brookfields Vineyard, Shed 530, Church Road Winery, and Mission Estate Winery. All four were great, but Brookfields and Church Road stood out - Brookfields for it’s small, passionate, family-run vibe and Church Road for its beautiful venue and tasting notes from Paul. With that said? The pizza at Shed 530 was amazing and Benjamin at Mission Estate were great too.

Kristy was a lovely tour guide. We enjoyed each tasting she brought us to as well her insights and information about the region. Our favorite wineries were probably Brookfield and Pask. But we learned something new at each winery and locations and scenery were stunning.
