The tour is short, and you basically get a snapshot of the site, which we were aware of. The tour guide was excellent. Be aware that there are not many bathrooms! I recommend this tour for anyone who is short on time and wants to get a snapshot of the Vatican and the sisteine chaple.

You are herded through one area to the next area, in a sea of people. If you’re not overly religious I would skip this tour for something else to see in Rome. Our guide sucked, very little interaction with the group.

This was a brilliant tour - made all the more better by our tour guide Amy! She was funny, engaging, had a huge depth of knowledge and a great sense of humour which kept us all alert, as a few of us had done the Colosseum tour in the morning so were starting to flag a bit by the afternoon! (Not that it dampened our enjoyment!). She was happy to take questions and made sure we all stayed together as it was very busy with lots of people and very easy to get lost. Would 100% recommend this. Also, Amy deserves a pay rise and a promotion! :)

My husband and I took the City Wonders Vatican Tour today and it exceeded our expectations! We were able to skip the long lines and enjoy the Vatican highlights, including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica, without feeling rushed. Our guide, Leo, was excellent—extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. He brought the artwork, history, and stories of the Vatican to life with fascinating insights. This tour was well-organized, informative, and absolutely worth it. Highly recommend City Wonders and especially Leo for an unforgettable Vatican experience!

I would love to return in Nov, Jan, Feb with far fewer people and without a guide so that you were free to wander and take your time. It is a day's visit, not 3 hours! Our guide, however, was excellent and very informative and without her the queues and the bustle would've been impossible. As it was, it was hectic but worth it!

It is a busy, informative tour with so much to see and do. Our tour guide provided so much information and historical insight about the Vatican. I suggest this tour for anyone who is interested in catholic and Italian history.

- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- We regret that we are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or any impairments requiring special assistance. We are also unable to accommodate strollers or baby carriages on our group tours.
- At times, despite our priority access tickets, we may experience delays in getting through mandatory security checks when entering these venues
- St Peter’s Basilica & Sistine Chapel are subject to last-minute closures for religious ceremonies. When this occurs, we're happy to offer customers an extended tour of the Vatican Museums. While we endeavour to tell tour groups ahead of time if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible and in these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts.
- On Wednesday mornings, access to St. Peter’s Basilica is not included due to the Papal Audience. Entry is only possible after 1:00 PM.
