Coliseum is not only the pictures from outside it has a lot of history inside our tour lady was very passionate and showed knowledge in a lot of detail while she walk us through the history. I really recommend this tour and no lines to go in which is a big plus

This tour was great! Our guide did a fantastic job of painting a picture of what the coliseum use to look like. It was so interesting to hear about the different events and building process of the coliseum. I like how we were given free time through to take pictures, sit down, or do something else we wanted to do.

Mark was our guide, and he was great! He had so much knowledge of the coliseum and of Rome in general. He is from America, but his family goes back generations in Rome and he is proud of his Italian roots. This tour is just the right amount of time to see everything, and Mark brings you right to the Arch of Constantine, if you ask nicely.

This tour delivered the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Forum in spades! It covered the Colosseum and Palatine in detail, and viewed much of the Forum (which you could then explore on your own). There are some elevators in the Colisseum to take you from the entry level to an upper balcony (but not the very top), which is really the only way to view the impressive architechture. Some of the Colisseum has been rebuilt, and the guide knows what's original, and what is not. Unlike ancient times, there is no roof so prepare for sun and rain. The Palatine Hill has pavement made up of stones, so the climbs and descents can be slippery. This is the one place on this tour to access a public restroom. Expect a number of security and bag checks. This guide spoke English very well and had an advanced archaeology degree.

This was our first actual guided tour to the Colosseum and forum our last time being self guided and pre Colossal crowds in Rome this year. City wonders was great our guide provided many hours of insight and covered many things we didnt get 20 yrs ago on our last trip to Rome. I also saw City wonders guides at the Vatican the next day and now have them down as one of our 2 go to guide services for more trips.
