Amalfi Coast Dream: Positano, Amalfi, Ravello from Sorrento

The tour was really great, busy and exciting. Well prepared and organized with enough time to enjoy the visits of the Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, and views were breathtaking. As i stayed in Ravello, I had the opportunity to visit Villa Rufolo and enjoy beautiful views from the garden and tower. The boat tour was the most exciting, as we could really see the majestic Amalfi coast in its entirety, with all the houses hanging on the cliffs. The guide was very friendly, helpful, organized and well prepared for the tour.

It was the perfect 1 day literary for a quick visit to 3 major Amalfi Coast cities. We loved the combination of bus and boat. You need to see the Amalfi Coast from both the twisty roads and from the sea to fully appreciate it. The optional 15€ 2nd boat ride in Amalfi was definitely worth the added coast and shouldn’t be optional. They should just add the 15€ to the cost and include it. Great guide—knowledgeable and witty. The driver was excellent especially on those twisty narrow roads. I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. The recommended lunch spot where everyone went (lunch was not included) was very average. I would have done better on my own.

Very good trip!! Our guide Roberto was excellent, looking after everyone and making us all laugh and feel part of his “Family”. Our driver was especially good, dealing with the small narrow, steep roads.

Three towns are covered by tour guide with great sense of humor who shares his knowledge of the history of the land. Skilled kind bus driver handles the driving. Boat ride with coastline views and towns filled with shops churches and great places to eat or just sit and watch people go by. Great and easy way to view and see different cultures.

Be prepared for rain and walking. Had a lovely experience. Great driver and knowledgeable guide. Thank you.

Donello was a fun, positive, friendly and informative tour guide who deftly led our small group from Sorrento to Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, both via bus and boat. We had ample time to tour through each town solo, while being given great historical information and tips to enjoy the towns. Taking the ferry was a wonderful experience to see the coast, while on the water, and the additional Semi-private boat of the coastal homes and history was magic. Highly recommend, and our driver Andrea safely navigated us through all the twisty roads. Brava a tutti.

Our guide, Daniella, was excellent. This tour was exactly as described. We drove from Sorrento to Positano, then took the ferry to Amalfi. In both towns, Daniella walked us to the main square, pointed out highlights, then left us with the location and time to meet back. This tour does not include a guide while you’re in each town, so study up ahead of time if there are particulars you want to see. Because it was such a beautiful day, our group opted to spend an extra 15 euro per person to take a shared charter boat (not the public ferry) along the Amalfi coast for views from the water. Our bus driver then met us in Amalfi for our drive to Ravello. Again, Daniella escorted us to the main square, pointed out highlights, then left us to meet up later. We had about 1 1/2 hours in each town, maybe longer. From Ravello we drove inland back to Sorrento and experienced beautiful views of Mt Vesuvius and all the towns of the bay of Napoli in between Napoli and Sorrento. The mountains that divide the Sorrento coast and the Amalfi Coast are magnificent. This tour is well worth the money for sightseeing. There’s no way to cover as much ground, and water, as we did if this tour’s pace were to slow, say to accommodate more time to learn about the individual towns, their historical significance, and to actually walk through and read or hear about specific structures. The free time in each small town allows you to visit those places of interest to you, provided you’ve studied up ahead of time to know what you want to see. It was a long day, but a beautiful one.

Very good experience, the ferry ride was very full. Try to get on early if you wanna seat up top.. Very surprised at the crowds in Amalfi, but it was great to see these areas. Ravello was the best part of this experience, wonderful little town with great views. Great olive oil and wine selections.

Great trip. Driver was very good negotiating tight, winding roads. Luchano (?) did interesting and humorous commentary and kept group moving.
