We had a wonderful time learning about Savannah history and architecture. Our guide, Savannah (yes that is her name), was passionate and knowledgable about Savannah and answered everyones questions. She gave great recommendations for further exploring the city, places to eat.or enjoy drink on a rooftop with view of the city .

Having only one day in Savannah is what led us to a guided walking tour and we were not disappointed! We could have easily just walked around on our own, but would have missed hearing the story line behind this wonderful architecture. Our guide, Savannah (yes truly) was so knowledgeable, passionate and attentive to our group of 12. She provided us with a sound system that actually worked! You could see her passion for what she does and was very happy to address all of our questions with great response. Don’t miss this 2 hour gem.

Book this tour when you first arrive. The informative guide gives you a lot of information and if something peeks your interest you still have time to circle back after the tour.

Our party of three was stranded at an airport hotel by Winter Storm Fern, and decided to brave chilly winds and see something of Savannah. What a fortuitous, snap judgment we made! We hastily booked a historical walking tour, and wound up with guide Pierce McIain! He is a walking encyclopedia, fiercely devoted to conveying historically accurate but nonetheless entertaining information about his beloved hometown. We saw 4 of the 22 distinctive squares and the Factors Walk, Cotton Exchange and Colonial Park Cemetery. Even with blustery weather, we could hear him well using the hearing devices provided. Pierce made it worth our while. A grand introduction! Bob Garrett, Austin, TX

Incredibly knowledgable guide. Learned so much about the colonial history of Savannah. Definitely worth the time.

I went on the 1 pm tour on Sunday and our guide was very knowledgeable of the history of the city and spoke very well. Although I am not much of a history buff, I found the tour very informative and enlightening and made me want to read more about how Savannah came to be the city it is now. I just wished the tour covered more sights.

We have been in Savannah many times before and know the city pretty well. But we had friends from out of town visiting and decided to take a walking tour so they could get the essence of the city’s history. We had an excellent, knowledgeable guide who focused on the history of Savannah with energy and humor. He chose a great sampling of sites to visit. Also, the microphones and ear pieces worked really well. That’s not always the case. It was well worth the ticket price.
