Agadir's Soul & Spice: Half-Day Couscous City Journey

Was a great tour by Cous Cous. He was friendly & very informative. Made us feel very welcome & would go out of his way to help.

We hired couscous for a whole day for a private tour. He was very professional, informative and good fun. There were four of us and we had a rough idea of what we wanted to do and Couscous made that possible and added in lots of bits that made our day even better than we had hoped for. All our communications with him prior to the trip were easy and we were well informed when her arrived to pick us up. I cannot recommend him highly enough and it felt like we had spent the day with an old friend. A shame we will probably never see him again.

Last minute escape from Devon UK, to Agadir, and we were so fortunate to accept a taxi from outside our hotel (takida rui dunas - amazing hotel) to go into town. Couscous took us on route to a factory where they made certified argan oil amongst much other things, and the money went towards helping women in work and life. It was a free tour, which we would not have otherwise known about and he just stopped off on route to show us this so we could buy authenticated produce, certified. Couscous gave us some fantastic detailed information about all of agadir, and so we decided to book the paradise valley trip with couscous and I’m so so glad that we did. The trip itself was so beautiful and a real insight into true beauty of Moroccan mountains and natural habitat. You really get to see moroccos countryside in its natural beauty, with a stop off at 2 places, 1 for pictures and 1 for another free guided tour at a botanical garden with free tea and produce tasting! (Honey, nut butters, teas etc). Really good, and all part of the trip. Couscous’s trip to paradise valley is definitely one to be included on your visit, a car ride to the depths of the mountain’s, then a half hour walk down into the beautiful hidden spot for a half hour break to soak up the beauty, then back to the taxi. Talking all the time about where you are and what goes on there. If you want to see the real Morocco, with someone who knows what he’s talking about, book couscous, he genuinely wants you to have the best experience during your stay. Couscous is one of the nicest tour guides/ taxi drivers I’ve ever met ANYWHERE, a real professional, and after this tour we booked him for others, where he was always on time, always keen to tell us all about everything and anything, and I’ve got to say - he probably actually made our trip, we learnt more from his knowledge about Morocco, than anything else we did. We truly feel we have come away having made a real friend in Agadir, we will always book couscous if we can when we visit again, as his attention to detail, and friendlyness is everything you would want from a tour guide and more. Honestly, if you’re reading this and you want someone trustworthy, knowledgable, reliable and just an all round great guy, please have no doubt in booking couscous, he will only add to your holiday. We had a great time on this trip, cous cous is a fab tour guide and is genuine and funny. You get to see some of the best highlights of Agadir and learn about the history and culture of the city. This is a great trip to complete.
