Fort Lauderdale Segway: Glide & Explore Coastal Paradise

I signed up for the 1 hour 4 mile Segway tour and got so much more. Mike the tour guide and extraordinary trainer/guide led the tour. Because there were only a few participants on this particular tour, Mike was able to extend the tour and showed the group more sights than expected. If you’re ever in Fort Lauderdale, you will not be disappointed if you sign up for the Segway Fort Lauderdale Tour and be sure to ask for Mike!

My friend and I are two active retirement age ladies who were excited to have a second experience on Segways. Mike was the best guide for us! He gave us very practical tips on safely riding and steering our vehicles through Fort Lauderdale’s very beautiful river walk area and the surrounding residential streets. He was encouraging in our riding technique and so knowledgeable about historical and current issues in Fort Lauderdale while leading us through this gorgeous city. We were thrilled with our experience!

Mike was our tour guide and he was fantastic! He was extremely personable and very informative and we learned so much about the history of Fort Lauderdale. 5 Stars all around!

Let me tell you….Mike was an amazing instructor and me and my partner had a WONDERFUL time! The yachts and mansions were beautiful!!

This is an awesome way to tour the area. After you get the hang of riding the Segway you are off and running. Mike was a beast at teaching and being a tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and a cool guy, I recommend the tour especially with him.

Became a good Segway operator within 10 minutes, and got to practice my new skills 20 more minutes before heading out for the tour with no difficulties.

Mike got us all prepped up with safety gear and the waiver admin was completed quickly. As we had done a few similar trips before, Mike put our segway skills to the test in the parking lot before setting off and I’m glad we all passed to his satisfaction! On with the tour of the local area with Mike pointing out all relevant facts and information past and present regarding the buildings, the yachts (dinghies!) on the river and onto the neighbourhood houses with fantastic designs and trees. Hope Mike gets to purchase one before his retirement!! We were all grateful to him for his wealth of knowledge and the way he imparted the information in a humorous way.
