Coco Bongo Cancun Gold: Ultimate VIP Skip-Line Access!

We went to the ‘kids party’ in October as a family (children aged 9 and 3), by the end of the evening we had all enjoyed ourselves and left happy, but the start of the evening was a different story! Getting into Coco Bongo was probably the worst experience we’ve ever had of getting into a venue/event. The queues were endless and very unclear on what you were queuing for, we were supposedly ‘gold members’ but there was no queue skipping going on, if anything, we kept ending up at the back of yet another queue, in the heat, with no idea of when we would actually get in. It took over an hour for us to check in, the checks were like being at an airport, and we missed the start of the show and ended up right at the back, yet people kept coming in behind us and we were quite literally squashed in like sardines, and it was boiling inside also. There appeared to be plenty of queue skipping for the locals, but prepare to be ushered to the back over and over again if you’re a tourist. Once the show got going, it was a great atmosphere and the kids loved it. The ‘show’ elements were really impressive with the acrobats etc. but the gaps between each show were quite long. There were way too many people in the venue, especially as this was an event for children, getting to the toilets with small children was a bit of a nightmare, like going to nightclub toilets on a busy night out but with children in tow. We travelled as a group from the hotel as part of an organised trip, and we all had the same experience. We were all fed up before we even got in, but by the end we had made the best of a bad situation and enjoyed ourselves. I personally wouldn’t go again, but it felt like a ‘must do’ when in Cancun. I would say go and enjoy it, but be prepared for an awful check in process and a very hot and crowded evening! If we had been more prepared for how it would be we may have been a little more understanding.

The show is in another level! Having seats it´s worth it and also you get drinks to your seats. I went on Monday and it was full.

The show was great from start to finish. Drinks flowed and my host made sure I had everything I needed. The show was interactive and really well put together. The building was air conditioned and pleasant. I was sat on a stool, wasn’t the comfiest but it didn’t detract from the experience. Food was good too.

It was absolutely amazing we had front row seats right next to where all the characters come down. The show it’s really something else all drinks include never went dry all night.

Gold member ticket - not all its hyped up to be. Never got to skip the queue, nobody explained what the process was to get in. Seats were terrible, on the path to the toilet and kept getting knocked by people walking past. Never got the included snack. People were vaping and smoking in the venue and the staff did nothing about it. After the show, the exit is through a shopping centre and you have to walk down broken/turned off escalators - maybe not the safest thing under the influence of alcohol!! Drinks were well topped up throughout the night and the show was really good fun!!

Honestly don’t waste your money on this ! Myself and wife decided to try it after hearing positive things about coco bongo! Wow what can I say no skipping the queue as everyone is stood in a line that’s rammed and people none stop pushing to get to the front soon as the doors open it’s a mad scramble to get in with zero crowd control in place , once in the nightclub area we were escorted to our seats , the drinks were very watered down and the burger and hotdog were terrible! The show although was good the breaks between performances were to long I would not attend again and spend my money elsewhere We felt like it was very degrading to women with sprits being poured down the necks to get them to flash there boobs or shake the backsides

Fun Night at Coco Bongo – But One Disappointing Experience Coco Bongo in Cancun is definitely an unforgettable experience — the show, the energy, the music — everything was amazing and we had such a great time overall. However, we were really disappointed with the service from one of the waiters, Antonio. While we were there to have fun and enjoy the night, Antonio was more focused on chatting and flirting with one of our friends than actually doing his job. We spent a good amount of money and expected at least decent service, but he completely ignored us, and we had to ask other staff members for help multiple times. What made it worse was that he opened our bottle of Smirnoff without asking, just because we shared it with some friends — which is totally unacceptable. His attitude was unprofessional, lazy, and honestly took away from what could’ve been a perfect night. And it wasn’t just one of us — everyone in our group felt the same way. On a more positive note, the girl at the grill area was fantastic — super friendly, helpful, and gave great service. We appreciated her so much that we made sure to tip her personally. We’re sharing a photo of Antonio just so others are aware. While Coco Bongo itself is a wild and amazing experience, beware of poor service from certain staff members, because it can really bring down your night.

It was a lot of fun i can’t lie. We got absolutely plastered. They’re fantastic at keeping the drinks re-filled, lost count of the amount of vodka cokes and tequila shots that were consumed. The show was brilliant and a lot of fun! Got a cheeky quesadilla from the place opposite (which tasted incredible but that was probably a benefit of the alcohol) and then spent the 30 minute uber waffling pure rubbish to the uber driver in what was my best go at Spanish. Overall great experience and a great night out!

Had such an amazing time here! Came with my husband for my birthday and they brought out shots and had everyone sing me happy birthday! Definitely made me feel special. The show itself was also amazing!! The dancers were sooo good and loved all the themes to their routines. Would go recommend for a fun night out!!
