Vibrant Mexico City: Frida, Xochimilco & Coyoacán Adventure
Enjoy some of Mexico City’s must-see spots with our ‘Colors of Mexico’ adventure. Begin in Coyoacan, one of Mexico’s most influential cities. As you wander its tree-lined streets, you’ll learn how this city played a part in historical empires like the Aztecs and the Spanish. Then visit either La Casa Azul or the Casa Kahlo (depending on the selected option). Step into Frida Kahlo’s world through her original home or the innovative new museum, and immerse yourself in the life and art of one of Mexico’s most iconic and original artists. From the inspired art of Frida Kahlo, we’ll head to the eye-catching Xochimilco and board a trajinera - a colorful, gondola-like boat - for a ride through the neighborhood’s famous canals. As you indulge in local treats, your guide will share the incredible details of what makes this area a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Before finishing the tour, walk around North America's oldest university and admire its Central Campus, another World Heritage site.

We had a wonderful experience on this tour! It’s a large-group tour on a very comfortable coach bus, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our bilingual guide, Rodrigo, was phenomenal. He translated every sentence perfectly, with patience and clarity, and made sure everyone felt included and informed. We did have a small ticket issue at the Frida Kahlo Museum, but Rodrigo handled it with so much professionalism. He encouraged us to enjoy the area while he resolved it, kept communication open, and notified us personally the moment he secured our access. Truly above-and-beyond service! His explanations of the murals and historic sites were engaging and insightful, and he was a fantastic timekeeper while still making sure we felt relaxed and enjoyed the experience. The tour group was a little large for our personal preference—smaller would feel more intimate—but the value was absolutely worth it. And the included restaurant was excellent! A delicious buffet with plenty of great options—not the typical “tour lunch” disappointment. The tour did go longer than expected, but they communicated this clearly in advance so everyone knew what to expect. Highly recommend this tour—and especially Rodrigo! He made the day unforgettable. 🌟

Our guide Hector was very well informed and made an effort to recount the history of the ancient Mexico in detail. He spoke too quickly for us to catch all the information and his accent also made it difficult to understand. The tour got off to a slow start at a silver factory that was not listed on the tour program and was a waste of time. The day overall was enjoyable, the sites were very worthwhile. Our group was much larger than had been advertised and the tour lacked organization. Nice people, but a little chaotic.

Average tour. Lots of wasted time in group organization and traffic. DO NOT buy anything from the silver / metallurgy store they take you to; my friend bought one of their rings for almost $100 and it turned out to be a cheap fake. Also, one of their earlier tour guides had used some of our Frida museum tickets so we had a wait almost an hour before they sorted it out and some people on our tour didn’t end up getting in even though they paid. In summary, it’s a tour that takes you around to a lot of places for a reasonable price, but you’re going to spend an entire day and be disappointed at times. I’d recommend just doing your own thing using the internet as a guide.

Rodrigo was fantastic! Great pace of a tour. We learned so much about the local area and culture. Awesome Spanish and English translator, my Spanish improved just by listening to Rodrigo.

For me, the price is not worth it. We had to pay for everything and it seems that I could have used this money in another tourr

Was an average tour. Cheap way to see lots of parts of the city. DO NOT buy anything from the metallurgy / silver shop they take you to; my friend bought a ring for approx $100 and it turned out to be a cheap fake. Also, one of the previous guides used our tickets into the Frida museum so some of us didn’t get to see it. I’d recommend doing your own using the internet thing instead of taking this tour.

Ismael is an excellent bike guide!! Friendly, knows the city like the back of his hand, safe, fun! There were tons of street closures due to the day of the dead parade and he navigated side streets safely for us. We had such a terrific tour through Chapultepec Park and all around the city. We stopped for a delicious lunch. I would recommend him for anyone looking for a fabulous bike experience in Mexico City

The tour is well thought but I did the English tour and our guide Rodrigo and another girl (who could barely speak English) gave us very little information. The tour was nice but I am very irritated that they didn’t leave us at the drop off point they indicated. We had 15 min from a random place to the Palace of Belles Arts. Rodrigo even suggested to us to get off the bus earlier and take an uber to where we were headed but we paid for a service that wasn’t offered. I recommend the tour but not with the tour guide that we had.

Lots of hanging around for those who had not got tickets for Friday Kahlo house. However, the star of the show was Barbie(Barbara) who was kind carefuland considerate. The traffic was horrendous so long time in the bus. The boat trip was only an hr .
