This was a great tour. We learned a lot about the city, and ate some great food. I wish they offered wine refills!

This food tour was a great combination of both Bahamian history and food. Pierre was the best! We have done food tours in several locations and this one was one of our favorites. Bring a water bottle because quite a bit of walking and it is very hot & humid. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend this tour! Lisa was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The food was plentiful and delicious! Make sure to bring water as it is a walking tour.

This tour was so much fun, and Lisa was a fantastic guide! My spouse and I enjoyed trying all of the different foods, and learning about Bahamian history and culture. Everything we ate was so delicious and fresh. We definitely felt safe and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Nassau. Thanks Lisa!

This was an amazing experience! Our tour group was small - only six of us - yet quite diverse. Our guide was Pierre. He was very engaging and enthusiastic. He taught us so much about Bahamian food and history. He took time to thoroughly and thoughtfully answer our questions. This is a 100% walking tour (which is great after eating so much!) Be prepared to tread along the beautiful island plateaus, with lots of rolling hills. Wear sunscreen as well as appropriate shoes and clothing. I didn't find the landscape difficult to navigate at all. A brief afternoon rain shower did nothing to slow us down! In fact, the rain cooled us off a bit. I assumed that the food served would be small bites, but the first stop was a full meal that was very filling. I am not fond of seafood, yet surprisingly I found myself eating everything! It was all quite tasty! The conch fritters were my favorite food and my favorite stop was the Greycliff. We were in port on a cruise ship so our time was limited. Pierre did very well at navigating us through each stop along the tour in a timely fashion without making us feel that we missed anything. I absolutely recommend that anyone take this tour. I would definitely do it again! Ask for Pierre! He's awesome!

The overall tour: This tour was fantastic. Not only do you get to experience some great spots to get amazing food, you get to tour and explore historic parts of Nassau. I learned much more on this tour than I expected. And despite the heat, at each location we were given ample time and a heads up to recuperate within cooling spaces. I felt safe and accounted for, plenty of times I noticed our guide counting heads and recalling names. I also laughed much more than I thought I would, overall just a great time. The guide: Ms Lisa was a pivotal part of the tour. Not only was she very knowledgeable but also funny and personable. She was great with names and getting to know each persons personalities. By the end it was like we were all friends of hers. To add onto the experience, I believe having our guide dine with us would tie the group even more together. The group experience: Ms Lisa was fantastic at getting our individual groups to meld into a large party. In this instance, we had some cruise members and some on their own trips. I think we even had some repeat guests! Before the end, I even managed to learn some of the other members names and stories. Notes to the interested: If your looking to have a taste of Nassau and to learn about the area and it's history, this very well may be the tour for you. My husband and I went on this tour and got lucky to have it (and Lisa) all to ourselves. The food was delicious, Lisa was extremely entertaining and it was great to have someone show us around downtown. We were shown some great spots, that we visited again, and ate food that we would have never found on our own. Thanks Lisa!!
