Amalfi Coast Dream: Positano, Amalfi, Ravello from Sorrento

This is a great way to see the Amalfi coast. We had Roberto as our guide and Giovanni as our driver and both were excellent. Organisation from the meet point was quick, we were given our headsets and then a short walk to the bus and we were on our way promptly at 8.30. The first stop (after a photo stop) was Positano where we had an hour and half’s free time to wander round. On the drive there Robby gave us some good info about the area, he is a funny, engaging and knowledgeable guide. He then walked us into Positano pointing out the main highlights and our meet point, as well as recommending some shops and cafes before giving us free time. We were then lucky that the weather was good so we could do the included ferry trip from Positano to Amalfi which takes about 30mins. Before the ferry we also had to decide if we wanted Robby to make reservations for lunch at a place in Amalfi and to book the 40 min scenic boat ride also in Amalfi, there was no pressure to do either of these but all of our group chose to. Lunch in Amalfi was good, and we then had about an hours free time before meeting for the boat trip. Robby was tour guide for the whole boat on the trip and again it was super interesting. After Amalfi we made our way to Ravello, slowed down by an apparently common crash (not ours), again Robby showed us the highlights before we had an hours free time. It was then the drive back to Sorrento via a different route with great views of Vesuvius. All in all I would highly recommend this trip- and thanks Robby for the bottle of Limoncello that I won :)

Roberto and Giovani where excellent. Giovani's driving was absolute precision. An F1 driver has nothing on him. Roberto kept the mood fun and informative. Just don't ask about the butcher.😂 We HIGHLY recommend this tour. The South of Italy is simply breathtaking

Neko was a great guide! He called us his family and made us feel like we were visiting his home. The small group (18) got to know each other very quickly. The group took care to keep up and take care of each other. We came away with new knowledge of the history of the Amalfi Coast, its beauty and a few Italian words!

Such a great day. Our guide was awesome. Loved the free time. Our guide gave great recommendations and was really helpful. Good option if you are not up to loads of walking (hubby has bad knees).

The tour was really great, busy and exciting. Well prepared and organized with enough time to enjoy the visits of the Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, and views were breathtaking. As i stayed in Ravello, I had the opportunity to visit Villa Rufolo and enjoy beautiful views from the garden and tower. The boat tour was the most exciting, as we could really see the majestic Amalfi coast in its entirety, with all the houses hanging on the cliffs. The guide was very friendly, helpful, organized and well prepared for the tour.

It was the perfect 1 day literary for a quick visit to 3 major Amalfi Coast cities. We loved the combination of bus and boat. You need to see the Amalfi Coast from both the twisty roads and from the sea to fully appreciate it. The optional 15€ 2nd boat ride in Amalfi was definitely worth the added coast and shouldn’t be optional. They should just add the 15€ to the cost and include it. Great guide—knowledgeable and witty. The driver was excellent especially on those twisty narrow roads. I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. The recommended lunch spot where everyone went (lunch was not included) was very average. I would have done better on my own.

Very good trip!! Our guide Roberto was excellent, looking after everyone and making us all laugh and feel part of his “Family”. Our driver was especially good, dealing with the small narrow, steep roads.

Three towns are covered by tour guide with great sense of humor who shares his knowledge of the history of the land. Skilled kind bus driver handles the driving. Boat ride with coastline views and towns filled with shops churches and great places to eat or just sit and watch people go by. Great and easy way to view and see different cultures.

Be prepared for rain and walking. Had a lovely experience. Great driver and knowledgeable guide. Thank you.
