Cabo's Ultimate Snorkel & Fun Cruise: Ocean Escape!

Our party of 7, ages 18-55, booked this and was disappointed in having to sit upstairs in the blistering sun for the hour and half ride to the snorkle spot, Chilean beach. The ride there took a very long time. I felt like there were two different experiences, miserable up top with blasting music, no shade, and no breeze, then those who were downstairs with shade and a nice cool breeze. They should clarify the experiences when they offer you the paid upgrade. The VIP experience was pitched as having alcohol upgrades but we were not drinking before snorkling and on the boat, everyone was served the same alcohol options. 3 of my children got sunsick for sitting for 1.5 hours with NO Shade Or reprieve! I would use again and upgrade.

Starting with ease of transportation, clean van, excellent service, lovely environment. Fun activities for all interests.

Bottom line: this was a great excursion… first of all, the staff was really fun, pleasant and attentive. The catamaran ride (with a stop at the arch for photo ops) to the snorkel area was nice. The upper deck had a party atmosphere, while the lower deck was quieter. The equipment was clean and new. One of the staff took extra time to ensure that my life jacket was properly fitted. The taco lunch was freshly made and tasty. Overall it was a great experience

This IS NOT a snorkeling tour. This is a party boat ride with lunch and drinks… with 20 min to swim in the ocean with snorkel gear without anything to see and they don’t let you swim away from the boat. If you’re lucky, you’ll see some whales. Not family friendly… we had teens about at the 18 age and I’m glad they were that old. I would have been mad if they were any younger! Staff is nice, food is fine! Not worth the money if you ask me.

It is definitely more of a party boat, drinks are not good (cheap alcohol) unless you want to pay extra. Snorkeling was less than average. The food, whales & cruising were the best part.

Advertised as snorkeling. It was a party boat with lots of booze, loud music, and crazy people. Wearing a life jacket was required. There were no flippers, just a mask and snorkel which some didn't even get. Everyone was required to stay in a small area immediately behind the boat. Constantly bumping into other floaters. I wouldn't go again.

Francisco Alvarez was a very informative and fun guide I would recommend him for every adventure you have in cabo san lucas.

The overall activity was great. The boat crew was friendly and customer service was excellent. Music 🎶 on point for a fun time. The meal served was muy delish!! We saw Orcas which was a pleasant surprise. The snorkeling was a little disappointing as the water was murky. There and captain were absolutely focused on safety first and ensured everyone stayed in the appropriate areas. Drinks flow and you will leave feeling peaceful and relaxed.

The snorkelling wasn't really existent. Hardly saw any fish and there was no reef. Crew threw some tacos in and a few fish came up. We didn't get fins and weren't allowed anywhere else despite the fairly calm waters. Almost a hundred people in the water and everyone had to wear life jackets all the time which kind of let down the snorkelling experience. However if you're into the party scene it's great! Open bar (generous with the pours) and friendly staff. The lunch is good too. Music upstairs is really loud and they had a DJ. Tip: we bought tickets for USD$80 each but some people in the line to get on said they paid a discount rate of USD$50 each so it's possible to find a deal somewhere and I don't think it's worth $80 . Also, no need for the VIP upgrade of extra USD$85 as it's only for brand name spirits and the cheap ones were fine. They made cocktails! Tip: line up early if you want a table downstairs in the shade. Otherwise top deck great in the sun (and that's where the party is),
