Internationally acclaimed artist Bruce Munro’s Field of Light, inspired by a trip to Uluru 24-years ago, has been installed in a remote desert area within sight of majestic Uluru.
In the quiet of pre-dawn, this once in a lifetime experience will be etched in your mind forever. Arrive at Field of Light while the earth is still blanketed in darkness and wander through the field of 50,000 glowing spheres of colour while Desert Oaks seemingly appear from nowhere as the dawn light creeps above the horizon. You’ll eventually make your way to the top of an ancient sand dune where you’ll see the first rays of sunrise set the desert sky alight, flooding the landscape with warm light while you enjoy tea, coffee and hot chocolate with stunning views of Uluru.

The lights were amazing. I didn't know about this English artist, but he has displays all over the world.

We used this company for everything while staying in Uluru, Yulara. They collected us from the airport, took us on the Uluru sunset and Field of light sunrise tours and returned us at the end of our stay back to the airport. The whole experience with them has been 5* every time . They were fun, courteous, safe and made our whole stay and experiences magical. We nearly didn't do the Field of light sunrise tour as we hadn't got high hopes but we can honestly say that it was the highlight of our trip! Refreshments and nibbles are supplied during the tours as well as loads of very helpful hints, tips and information. The team are what makes this company so special and they were on hand for anything including taking photos of us besides local landmarks etc... I cannot recommend them highly enough and we will definitely use them again. Many thanks.

I was expecting to be nearer Uluru to see the sunrise. The field of light was a good exhibit but the rain dampened everything.

Well worth waking up extremely early for. We loved every minute. The tour guide and driver were both extremely professional and friendly. A fantastic, must do experience!

A special experience to see Bruce Munro's amazing Field of Lights. As the lights dim on the installation, and the stars fade, the sun rises providing incredible views of Uluru and also Kata Tjuta from a special platform. Tea and coffee and biscuits are provided and welcome compensation for the 4.45am start! Guides are very knowledgeable and provide clear instructions. Delivered back to the hotel in time for breakfast!

I traveled with AAT Kings a lot during my stay at Ayers Rock Resort. From the airport transfers to Field of Light etc. Kind and friendly drivers but it's also a nice touch both guide and driver are outside at the bus to welcome you are say goodbye. I was really impressed by that. So thank you AAT Kings!

We recently did the Uluṟu Field of Light tour. We chose the tour only, and it was amazing—definitely something you must do when visiting Uluṟu. The tour bus picks you up from your hotel or campground and drops you back afterwards, with everything included in the ticket price.
