Best Day-Tour : Santa Ana Volcano Hiking + Lake Coatepeque

Great experience! Diego was an awesome tour guide and I highly recommend. The views at the top of the volcano was so beautiful and we also got a great view of the Coatepeque Lake!

HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE BEST TOURS I'VE EVER BEEN A PART OF! Our tour guide Diego was amazing and shared alot of history of both El Salvador as a whole along with the history of Santa Ana Volcano. He was extremely patient with us on the hike and gave us necessary breaks along the way and stopped occasionally to give us a quick lesson on certain animals and vegetation we encountered/may have encountered on the way up. I highly recommend this tour especially for solo travelers as well!

Top day! Action packed and was very enjoyable. I had Diego as my your guide - he did an excellent job all day. Very knowledgeable and did well setting pace the whole day. Reaching volcano at top was very rewarding and made the cold beer at the lake even better! 🍺🇸🇻

Awesome experience, thanks to Diego! Beautiful views, easy pickup and great communication! It was a small group of 3 of us total so it made the trek very easy. The hike itself is about 1.5 hours and it’s moderate in difficulty. We had great weather and then finished the day early

It was a great experience with amazing guide!! For sure to do! Fees totally proportional to the quality of the service. Super timing not so long, no so court. I’m really advising to do specially with Diego !

Be in shape to climb 1300 feet. Bring proper shoes for a hike. Bring water. Bring a drone for better pictures and video. Our tour guide Josue was knowledgeable and accommodating.

This was a beautiful hike and although we didn't get the chance to see the crater at the top of the mountain( weather conditions) we got to see some incredible views. Coatepec is also something worthy of a postcard and you can't miss visiting the lake! Gaby was a personable and very educated guide that made the experience even better.

I absolutely loved this tour. It was a good size group (22) and Diego did an amazing job. He got us up the volcano safely and gave a really good explanation with stop along the way. Highly recommend!

Definitely something everyone must do when visiting El Salvador! Big thank you to our guide, Diego. He explained everything that was planned for the day and updated us along the way. He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of great information during the tour. He was very considerate of the group and gave us little breaks as the hike isn’t easy.
