Funny and helpful Tuk Tuk Tour in Kochin

My partner and I had a wonderful time with Aaru! He was so lovely, helpful and knew so many little interesting facts about the area. We simply would not have been able to cover all the things if it wasn't for Aaru! If possible - I would recommend setting aside more than the 4 hours specified in the information, so you can make the most of this experience! Aaru's one goal is to make his customers happy, and this he has certainly achieved with us! We look forward to returning to Kochi to hear some more tales from you ! Thank you once again :)

Aaru was so very helpful and polite. I was looking for a pair of black cotton or linen trousers and he was able to take me to several different shops before we found a great outlet with a tailor who made a special pair for me in double quick time and delivered them to the restaurant he recommended within 3 hours. Restaurant had lovely waterside views and a good choice of vegetarian main dishes.

We were lucky enough to find Aaru outside our hotel. He was friendly and knowledgeable about kochi. He explained that he offered a city tour around Fort Kochi and took as to many wonderful places (eg. Syrian Church, Jen Temple, Chinese fishing nets while the fishermen were operating then). He also took us to numerous work places like Shoba Khana and introducer us to some of the people who were working there. The tour was never rushed, he even helped out with some of our shopping and bought some items for us for a good price. He even went out of his way and bought us some Street food and teas. We definitely recommend Aaru, you will not find a better guide in Fort Kochi.

This was an excellent tour covering a lot of places that I didn’t know existed and would not have thought to visit. We also stopped for chai and had the chance to talk to local people. Aaru is informative and entertaining, and he’s also very honest. His English is very good and he knows a lot about local history (hr also knows lots of local people!). He was very good at being flexible and accommodating my interests (eg we stopped to look at lots of trees and spent extra time at the Dhobi/laundry). He recommended other options which I appreciated. I would highly recommend this tour as a great way of seeing some hidden parts of Kochi that you may not realise even exist!

We met Aaru as we came into Fort Kochi from the water taxi. The tour was amazing. I had been to Fort Kochi a couple of times before but he went out of the way to show me thing that I had not seen before. Aaru was a great driver and showed me how to drive the Tuk Tuk which was super fun. I would Highly recommend finding Aaru and have him show you around.

He is the best tuk tuk service you can get in the entirety of kochi. He was a very helpful man and he has a friendly nature. He explained every aspect regarding history and current situations about each and every place he took me to. From the start he was like a friend or even like a brother to me. Totally worth it!

We had a great experience with our tuk-tuk guide in Fort Kochi. He was punctual and always on time, and the itinerary was very flexible according to our requests. Even if we mentioned new places to visit on the same day, he adjusted smoothly and without any problem. He explained the culture and history of Fort Kochi in clear and easy-to-understand English. His personality was both friendly and polite, which made us feel very comfortable throughout the tour. We would definitely recommend him to anyone visiting Fort Kochi.

Great experience visiting Fort Kochi with the best tour guide Aaru who made me enjoy this marvellous old town and feel as a true local. How impressive every corner of this town with so much history. I loved the mixture of cultures who live here peacefully and with respect. Definitively I recommend it.😍🫶

I had an amazing time exploring kerela with Aaru! I was on holiday with my family and Aaru showed us so many cool places and had lots of knowledge about each place. We were with him for 8 days and in that time he took us to so many places like munnar with waterfalls and jungles, marari beach, the backwaters where we stayed on a houseboat wich was amazing! And spent a few days in fort kochi visiting spice factories, the Chinese fishing nets, resteraunts, museums and the kathakali show and much more. We even saw 2 wild elephants in the jungle on our last day wich was amazing! Aaru was super fun to spend the trip with and had a lot of fun going around fort kochi in his tuk tuk. He’s a reliable and really generous guy and I would love to visit kerela again with aaru as my guide which will hopefully be soon! And would recomend his tour around kerela to anyone
