Our guide Llello (not sure how to spell it) was excellent. He was incredibly knowledgeable and delivered the tour with a sense of humour. Well worth it and to be highly recommended.

This was our best tour in Italy. Crowds were okay, the pace allowed for questions and our tour guide was fabulous. She taught us a bit about archaeology that inspired curiosity in our group and was able to go beyond basics. Loved it.

Brilliant tour held by a very knowledgeable guide (Lello). He made it fun informative, intuitive and above all a fully enjoyable experience and showed us many things we would not have otherwise known, he was very interesting and interactive with us thru out the tour. I would strongly recommend this tour and save your time just wondering around !, without knowing the history of the place and get to the most important parts without knowing the reason why pompei was, what it was, and why. All I can say is brilliant

The tour was amazing. Lello as a guide was perfect. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and interesting. He was like the mayor of Pompeii. Having the perspective from an archeologist made the people of Pompeii come to life. If you can ask for him, do it!

Taking a small group tour of Pompeii with an archaeologist guide was money well spent! Our guide Italo was so knowledgeable and armed with a wealth of information we would never have known or noticed on our own. The frescoes and streets came alive once the information behind them was shared with us. He cleverly avoided the crush of larger groups being herded through the ruins. I’ve been to Pompeii several times but my teacher friend hadn’t and she was thrilled with our tour.

Lello was phenomenal during the tour. It was engaging and informative and he was quite knowledgeable and fun. Highly recommend this tour and Lello. For the price it was amazing and frankly would have paid double.

Italo was a great tour guide and I loved learning about the city and it's excavation. Definitely worth getting a small group and skip the queue for the smoothest experience.

- Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
- Public transportation options are available nearby
- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- Dress code is smart casual
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- This is not a ticket to the ruins, this is a guided tour confirmation, you can use it only with the guide
- Please wear comfortable shoes, because you will be walking on the original ancient streets
- If you are late or miss the tour there will be no refunds
- IDs are mandatory the day of the tour to enter the site, names given during the reservation have to match IDs

The guide will wait for you at the entrance of the Coffee Shop Vittoria, close to Porta Marina Inferiore entrance.
