Uluru (Ayers Rock) Sunset + Outback Barbecue Dinner & Star Talk

Lovely location, really good food and a very interesting talk. I would have liked more time to gaze at the skies and that would be my only complaint. Coming from the norther hemisphere I have never seen that many stars and could quite happily have gazed at them all night.

Wonderful experience having a dinner under the stars. We started off with canopies and drinks as we enjoyed the sunset over Uluru. We were than escorted to our dining area where we enjoyed a 3 course meal. It was a buffet meal with plenty of options. You can be guaranteed that you don’t leave hungry or thirsty!

Fantastic experience and well organised trip. Friendly guides. Amazing food. Great to see the night sky by Uluru with an explanation of the constellations.

Uluru is am incredible sight at sunset. Drinks were great. Nice nibbles though wouldnt call them canapes. Barbecue was good. Variety of meats, steak, chicken, kangaroo. though our steaks were s bit chewy. Sides of both veg and salads great. Dessert very nice. Drinks readily available. Star talk was intetesting. Would have liked more of this. Guides very friendly, helpful and informative.

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in September 2025 (without our kids) for our anniversary, and I can not fault this resort in any way. Our stay and experience here was amazing, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone considering or on the fence. Our room was perfect with a view of Uluru from our balcony, a welcome anniversary cheese and fruit platter waiting for us, the food for dinner at the Pool Bar was exceptional and the staff were polite, friendly and professional. What more could you want? We loved our time here.

Absolutely magical! This was a perfect evening with amazing ambience and simultaneously kid-friendly. We enjoyed the sunset viewing, but the BBQ was what made it: very close to Uluru down a path lit with low lamps, plenty of creature comforts, and incredible stargazing. All of the staff members did a great job, too, and were very hospitable, making for a smooth and well-coordinated outing.

Great experience, great people and great food and wine . Really enjoyed this evening. Began with a special viewing of Uluru at sunset with wine and snack and then travelled to impressive dining experience at base of Uluru. A big thank you to the friendly staff and highly recommend this experience.

Excellent. Staff was great. Food was ok. Sunset was blocked by clouds. Short star gazing. Highly recommend it........

A wonderful evening that begins with sparkling wine and nibblies as you view the sun going down at Uluru. The BBQ dinner is optional but we totally recommend it. You are driven in closer to Uluru and enjoy a range of BBQ meats and veggies and/or salads. We met three other lovely couples at our table of 8. Drinks of your choice are served with dinner. We then got a great talk on the stars under the beautiful night sky before returning to the resort. Bus picks you up and drives you everywhere. We already had our 3 day park pass so just need to show that. Oden did our star talk and was our guide. Mitch was our bus driver. A wonderful night that we would totally recommend.
