Embark on a sampan and witness the vibrant trading activities of Cairang Floating Market, the largest floating market in Vietnam. Goods exchanged include fresh fruits and vegetables, such as pineapples and mangos. We will then cruise into the jungle through small, yet complex canal systems, which provide a serene home to diverse flora and fauna. Allow yourself time to relax and meditate on this tranquil part of the trip.
Next on our trip is a visit to an organic cocoa farm. The owner’s father brought the plants back from a trip to Malaysia in 1960, introducing an extremely different crop to the region. All handmade and processed, these chocolate goods are a labour of love for this family.We will also explore a four-decade old noodle village and participate in the making of rice noodles the traditional way.

We had a very wonderful day. We visited the Floating Market, cruised through small canals, saw how rice noodles are made at a noodle factory, and finished with a visit to an organic cocoa farm where we learned about local chocolate production and tasted some delicious cocoa products. Our guide Sasa was truly excellent. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke great English, helping us understand the local culture and daily life along the river. She made the experience engaging and personal, sharing insights, pointing out interesting details and making sure we had fun and great photos.

Fantastic tour! Our guide Sasa made our day in Can Tho so special. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. The floating market was a real highlight, and it was great to see local life in action. The chocolate and noodle factory tours were delicious bonuses! The canal trip was peaceful and a lovely way to see the countryside. Thanks Sasa for making our trip so memorable - you're the best! Would highly recommend this tour and Sasa as your guide

We had a great morning at the floating market, really enjoyed our breakfast on the boat with a serenade by our boatman & the tour of the narrow backwaters was lovely, very peaceful. Sasa was a fabulous guide, very enthusiastic, friendly & informative.

We were really happy to have a great Tour Guide (Thuy Trang) for our Tour. She could explain all the important Things, she was super friendly and we laughed a lot. The breakfast soup was yummy, the wild canals were beautiful and the Cacao Plantage very interesting.

We had a great tour and also appreciated the later start (compared to other tours.) We got so much fruit and food/drink for the price. What really made this your great was Sasa. She was clearly very knowledgeable and had a really great sense of humour. Thank you to support guide Tammy also

We had an amazing time during our tour in Can Tho on the boat — it truly surpassed our expectations! We enjoyed all the delicious food and fun activities, as well as the fascinating information we learned about Vietnam, the Can Tho region, and the people living and working on the boats. It was an unforgettable experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We highly recommend Mekong Realism for a tour of the floating market, cocoa farm and noodle workshop. We enjoyed lovely food (soup, vegetables and pancakes) and great hospitality over all. Our guide Clara made the experience memorable and made sure to provide many interesting insights of life in Can Tho.

honestly I didnt expect to much for this price but it was really really nice. forst of all i was happy I found a tour which started later then all the ones offered. Then where they are
