Mount Rinjani Hiking Senaru Crater Rim ( 2Days 1Night )

We had 6 people in our group, good size. The guides and the porters were super nice and the good they served was delicious. The hike was demanding but we were lucky to experience an amazing sunrise without barely any clouds, it was the best reward!

Jon was a great guide and always helped me. I always felt at ease. I enjoyed the scenery and the food, it was a truly wonderful experience.

The Rinjani was closed for repairs so we had to opt for Mount Setampol (less challenging, just the other mountain beside Rinjani) and it was one of my highlights in this Indonesia trip. The food was incredible and prepared by the porters that accompanied us during the entire hike and honestly, honourable to have had hiked up with all the equipment and food in their shoulders. Reno was our guide and made our experience so much better! He always making sure we were okay, that we were having a good time or stop if we needed breaks in between the hike. This was an amazing experience and if you’re looking to do something different in Indonesia, I think you should go with this experience and hiking company!

We had an unforgettable Mount Rinjani hike organized through Viator. Our guide, Kas, was fantastic, supportive, knowledgeable, and a great companion throughout the trek. He made sure we reached the summit safely while sharing fascinating insights about local culture. Our two porters were also incredible, carrying all the gear, cooking delicious meals, and securing the best, most private tent spot on the mountain special for our honeymoon. Amazing Rinjani trek! Gacih, Sahdi & Sahir from Lombok Trekking made it unforgettable. Stunning views & great Climbing Mount Rinjani with Lombok Trekking was one of my best adventures ever. The trek was challenging but so rewarding — the sunrise from the summit was breathtaking and worth every step. Our amazing guide, Gacih, was so knowledgeable and supportive, and our porters, Sahdi and Sahir, were incredible — they carried all the gear and cooked delicious meals. Everything was perfectly organized, from transport to camping. I highly recommend Lombok Trekking to anyone who loves nature, adventure, and stunning views!

Lot of food, you don't really have to bring any more of the food. Take a rain coat for sure and second pair of shoes. Whether changes in minutes. It was nice experience overall. Guide was friendly and food was good. Porters did really great job too.

Superb view, fantastic experience , basic hiking conditions, tough climb on steep track covered with loose tehpra ( volcanic gravel ), but this 60 year old Aussie farmer made it up !!

What a hard, but very cool trip! We were picked up neatly at our resort in Senaru. Could borrow free walking sticks and rent a warm coat. The 2 of us had 1 guide and 2 'porters'. Porters carried our gear like tent and food, the guide led us to the top. Much respect for the porters. We had Cas as a guide, nice guest, helped us where needed and showed us the way. The trip was hard, but the view really fantastic. I want to thank Cas and the porters very much! The food was really good, such as egg, rice, noodles, chicken, greetings and cookies. All well organised! We gave a good tip, they deserve it because the working conditions are difficult for them.
