Half-Day Highlights of Mykonos Tour

Thanks Christina for this spectacular tour! I've always thought that Mykonos was only off the hook parties but not at all. Very friendly guide with a perfect english and a deep knowledge about her island.

The first thing Christina said when she boarded the bus was that she was originally from New York, came here 30 years ago and never left. That sealed the deal for us! The bus took us to visit the lighthouse, Kalafatis Beach, the village of Ano Mera, Little Venice, the iconic windmills (for the Money Shot 😊), and the main village. We learned more on this tour than we have in any other tour in Europe and had an incredible day. Christina was also correct, Mykonos is better than Santorini! 😉 You won’t be disappointed with this tour.

Kudos to Andrea for leading our tour of the highlights of Mykonos. She was extremely personable and used her own experiences of living in Mykonos for 35 years to tell the history of the last few decades of the explosion of building and tourism on the island. The bus tour to the lighthouse to a beach to Ano Mera and its monastery to the windmills and seashore town was thoroughly narrated by Andrea. She revealed the mythology of the nearby islands and the history of the Greek war and role in WWII. Highly recommend this tour and this eloquent guide.

Our guide, Christina, did a great job of including everyone, sharing lots of interesting information, and speaking loud enough and in locations that everyone could hear. The driver, George, was very good at navigating the narrow streets. They provided water on the bus, and there was a stop with a local bakery so it's ready to grab a snack if you are hungry. We would recommend this tour to get to know and experience Mykonos much better than just walking around.

We didn't budget much time in Mykonos, so this tour was essential in knowing and seeing as much about the island as possible in a short amount of time. Angela was great!! Her knowledge was very informative and her enthusiasm for Mykonos allowed us to see why she loves it. We recommend this tour to anyone with a limited amount of time or as a starter to a longer visit to truly know the island!

Dora made our excursion interesting and very informative. We were lucky to have her as our guide. I did not regret I took this excursion since there are more to Mykonos to explore.

Had a great time on this trip seeing such beautiful places we would definitely not have seen had we not done this tour. Very enjoyable time and Andrea was a fantastic host - incredibly friendly, super knowledgeable from longstanding personal experience of the island in relation to the tour information and offering additonal helpful information about the island to benefit the rest of our stay. Would highly recommend.
