Erna was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our questions about the area. We had such a relaxing day touring the sites and couldn't have asked for better weather. Lunch was beautiful, fresh and delicious and we tried some gelato before we left Tarquinia. I highly recommend this tour to cruisers that don't want to go into Rome.

Erna was a wonderful tour guide. She picked us up on time. She is polite and helpful. She gave us as much time as we wanted at all the stops. We didn't have to do much walking because she drove us. The lunch was really good and very filling. We had wine and an after lunch drink. Erna made sure we were back to our ship in plenty of time. I don't know why Princess doesn't include a visit to the tombs as this is Unesco. But I'm sure glad Erna's family company includes it all and for a good price!

We had a great visit to the necropolis site and town. Erna was a friendly, knowledgeable guide, and the tour included a lovely lunch in Tarquinia!

This tour was beyond our expectations. Having been to Rome several times we wanted a new experience. Thought this sounded intriguing and it really was. We were picked up promptly at the port and our guide was knowledgeable and professional. We learned so much about the Etruscans and enjoyed visiting the historic town of Tarquinia. Can’t believe our cruise line doesn’t include a similar excursion on their itinerary. If you have a day in Civitavecchia I highly recommend this excursion!

Andrea was a good guide. He was prompt to pick us up, knowledgeable and prompt also. Very good historical sites of Etruscans and Tarquinia. Good lunch too. It was a large multi-course lunch with wine.

Andre and Sarah were amazing. Sarah guided us around Tarquinia. The underground Etruscan tombs were so amazing. An unbelievable lunch was included. Awesome and amazing. Highly recommend!!

Our guide Mirko was fantastic--extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of our trip, down to choosing the best food pairings for lunch! Lots of walking and steps in the old city, the museum, and the Etruscan site, but well worth it. Picked up and dropped off to our local hotel right on time, and would gladly do a similar excursion in the future.

Great History! Andre was professional, passionate and knowledgeable about the Etruscan and Tarquinia region. Our 9yr old daughter found it fascinating and the paintings in the Etruscan tombs were so detailed and unique!! Fascinating walking the old medieval town of Tarquinia! Thank you for a great experience!
