Diamante is home to a large variety of Costa Rican animals that are in need. Some of the animals in our care have been born in other wildlife management programs for scientific and educational purposes; others are rescued and placed in our management by the authorities of Costa Rica. These animals are not fit for life in the natural environment and are cared for by a large team of qualified and dedicated professionals.
Diamante is known for its world-class habitat designs that address the needs of each species. The unique design of the habitats allows guests to view and learn about key aspects of biology, ecology and natural history of the animals.

I had an amazing time. Huge animal lover so getting to see many of the local animals was incredible. The employees were all fantastic answering questions about the animals they were with. Seeing Lucy and the other sloths for their feeding likely highlight of trop

The admission fee was $51 US. It is well worth it in my opinion. It was a wonderful experience. I went during the feeding hours so I could see that as well as learn about those animals that I got to see being fed. I was there 2-2.5 hours because I wanted to see all of the animals. The atmosphere was nice, the employees were very nice, knowledgeable, and helpful.

The staff was very friendly and we got to see a lot of animals up close, like jaguars, monkeys, butterflies, sloths and birds!

Really enjoyed the park. Spent fun filled afternoon enjoying the amazing animals. Staff very informative and nice. Would highly recommend.

This is an awesome place. We watched the sloth feeding, leopards and OMG the butterflies 🦋. I could have just sar with the 🦋 all day. We also did the Traditional House and learned about coffee from bean to cup, sugar cane, from cane to sugar water, and chocolate from bean to the best tasting chocolate I have ever tasted. Definitely a must do.

I greatly enjoyed the animal sanctuary, there was staff by the animals to tell facts and answer any questions, as well as tell personal stories of the animals. The sloth feeding was a lot of fun. I’ll absolutely come back next time I travel to Costa Rica and would recommend it to everyone who goes.

it was nice day to walk through the eco adventure park. they had a good selection of animals. the park was very clean and well maintained.

A don't miss. Get there for jaquar feeding time. We took about 3 hours to visit all the exhibits, the big cats were the highlight.

We really enjoyed our visit to the animal sanctuary. We saw the sloths being fed and we got a kick out of the jaguars going after their hanging treat. The staff were polite and helpful. We also went to the cultural center where saw demonstrations of sugar cane, coffee and chocolate. We got to taste them all. The presenter was very knowledgeable and he had a good way of delivering the information. We highly recommend this visit.
