Saint Petersburg Preserve Bike Tour

We had a great time and highly recommend this tour. Louisa was a great guide and pointed out lost of plants and animals as well as provided history of the area and the preserve. Bonus was the pictures Louisa took and shared with us. Definitely check this tour out if you are in St. Petersburg area.

We had a great time. Louisa was very friendly and accommodating to us as a pair of senior bike riders. Had a relaxing ride and walk, had a great chat about plants, birds, baby alligators. Would definitely do it again.

Louisa is knowledgeable and interesting. We learned a lot about Florida’s native animals and plants. And the bike ride of 3 miles was fun and energizing.

We had a great afternoon with Doo biking around the reserve. We learned a lot about the plants and animals in the preserve. The biking is an easy way to get around the preserve. Do not go on this tour planning to ride many miles.

All the different ecosystems! And just taking in nature. Bikes were in great shape. Saw alot of animals.

It was a beautiful day and my wife and I were the only people on the tour. Louisa (Doo) was great and very knowledgeable! I'm happy to recommend this tour to friends.

The 3 mile bike ride through 5 different eco systems was wonderful and enlightening. As 80 yr olds who hadn’t ridden bikes for 30 years, the gentle largely flat path through the preserve was easy and fun. Our guide (forgotten her name) was delightful and shared a wealth of knowledge about the flora and fauna in the reserve. We saw baby and adolescent sized alligators, a raccoon wondering across our path, protected raptors, eagles, and owls who had been injured, a wide variety of birds, egrets, ducks and other waterfowl, and numerous variety of trees, grasses, shrubs, turtle holes, alligator slides, etc We’d highly recommend the tour for a family outing with kids that can ride 3miles, and adults of any age. Doo’s tour was super!

My mom booked this tour for the two of us while I was in town visiting. We had a goregous morning, and were the only ones on the tour! Luisa was punctual, had all of the necessary gear for us (bikes, helmets, water, and even bug spray!), and took us on an intimate journey through the magical Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. Yes, you can walk or bike through the Nature Preserve on your own, but you won't go wrong if you do it with Doo! We learned so many new things thanks to Luisa and her incredible knowledge of the 5 different ecosystems located all within this one preserve. We saw all sorts of owls, hawks, turtles, and even some baby alligators. Luisa snapped photos for us too and we left with some great momentos of the trip. The Boyd facility is very well taken care of. Clean, inviting, and friendly staff. Cute little gift shop in there as well! Thanks Doo's Amazing Tours!

Would never have covered as much ground in the nature preserve if we didn’t have the bikes. Would never have seen as much wildlife if we did not have the exceptional tour guide to pointed it out to us. Excellent experience, highly recommend!
