Great central location to explore Carlsbad and Oceanside. Staff very nice and professional with e-bike instructions. Nice on-site parking.

I rented 3 electric bikes….1 did not work as an electric bike….David….chief of sales…..refunded me $30 for the inconvenience which was much appreciated!

We stopped in with our own personal bikes that needed some attention and small repairs, and the gentlemen there attended to everything happily and charged us nothing. Wonderful place and wonderfully helpful people!!

It was a blast. I’ll definitely rent another Pedago the next time I travel to a coastal resort. The staff at the Pedago in Carlsbad was terrific.

Bikes were in great shape and they had a lot of types of bikes for rent. The Personnel was very friendly and helpful.

Watching my girlfriend Rida a bike for the first time being on pins and needles riding behind her hoping she did fall off the bike. After about 30 minutes she was a lot more confident and the electric bike like a true champ.

Terrific experience and a beautiful way to see the coastline. I haven’t rode a bike much in the past 30 years and despite popular folklore, I do think you can forget how to do it! :-). I would recommend you walk your bike across the intersection and get into the designated bike lane near the pick up spot. Makes for a much safer and enjoyable experience. We opted to have low assist on the way to Encinitas but I was on full power mode after lunch for the ride back. It was great. Perfect 3 hours is to the town, lunch and back. Loved it. Would have really liked a rear view mirror to see other cyclists, my friend and cars behind me. I wasn’t balanced enough to easily glance back but most people wouldn’t have that issue. Highly recommend! Ask for a basket to put your backpack vs having to wear it.
