1-Hour Monterey and Cannery Row Sea Car Tour

We have been to Monterey a lot but never experienced the sites like this. It was a great experience and a lot of fun for us.

Everything was nice. The car was a little small for my husband to drive comfortably for very long though.

Great way to tour Monterey! The guided tour allows you to park and view scenes or just ride along and hear of the history of the city. The little go car keeps up with regular traffic and is eye catching. So many people took pics of us or asked how they could get a rental. For the TripAdvisor cost, it was a great deal!

The city and tour guide was amazingly beautiful, me and my wife will definitely return again!! It was an overall great ride!

GoCar was so much fun! We laughed so much together. The weather was beautiful, and the drive along the ocean was spectacular. I highly recommend renting.

We did the GoCar Tour in Monterey in June 2025 and had an amazing time! It was such a fun and unique way to explore the area. The route was beautiful—full of scenic stops and coastal views. We were able to pull over at multiple spots to take pictures, enjoy the ocean breeze, and just take in the beauty of Monterey and Pacific Grove. The GPS-guided narration made the drive super easy to follow, and it felt like a mix of sightseeing and a little adventure. We had zero issues with the car or the route, and the whole process—from check-in to return—was smooth and well organized. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable, open-air way to see the coast. A perfect activity for couples or anyone who wants to do something a little different than the typical tour!

So it was something new for us and my friends. A 17-year-old son absolutely loved the décor it's sometimes hard to get him on board with nathanie's. Just because he's 17 and the only thing that is from the electronics that he genuinely enjoyed this.

Awesome time. What a way to see the sights!! So much fun. Couldn’t stop waving at people esp kids who were like Mom and Dad… So many people stopped to ask!

GPS was not the best, wasn’t clear when we went off track. Wish that there were go kart lanes to drive in so that it was clearer.

Thistledown and Row - who knows where these names come from - newly-opened just off the main street in downtown Buchanan, should be - when it gets up to speed - a major contributor to the town's on-going revival. Four of us had a very pleasant dinner, within a month of its opening - eating very well, and sharing our observations on progress needing to be made. The setting is plain indeed - no problem with that. Tables are set at a respectful distance, and the choice to avoid intrusive background music is a plus. The inexperience of the serving staff was all too apparent - that will cure with some training and discipline. The beverage list features ciders and beers from the local brewery from which then restaurant emerges - focus belongs there, rather than to a bare bones and uninformative wine list. The menu so far is probably a work in progress - burgers and a pork tenderloin all well carried out. Taking a chance on the duck confit with roasted purple potatoes as side brought a better result than I'd have expected - if all the elements converge at that quality, the outcome will be worthy indeed. Congratulations on the initiative - towns in revival deserve the energy and should be supported.
