This guided walking tour (duration 45 minutes), includes access to six national monuments ranging in date from 1190 to 1783, it is a wonderful way for visitors to get an overview of Irish history both the historic and archaeological treasures and also experience the developments in architecture over a period of a thousand years as visitors traverse the Viking Triangle. We market the experience as ‘From the Vikings to the Victorians - A thousand years of History in a Thousand Paces’, in Ireland's oldest city, ‘Veðrafjǫrðr’, (Waterford).
Now including a visit to an exhibition titled ‘Mayors through the Ages, Eight Centuries of Civic Government in Ireland’, which has been put in place in City Hall, trace's the mayoralty and the evolution of democratic parliamentary and local government through the centuries

It was a very nice walk and our guide Deidra (hope i spelled right) was very good. We were only 2 people and she made it any way, it was kind of private tour. We enjoyed to do with her very much.

The Epic Walking Tour was included with our Waterford Treasures Freedom Pass. As expected, it provided a nice overview of some of the principal attractions in the historical core. We thereafter were able to pick and choose what we wanted to further explore, which of course is one reason for taking the tour in the first place. It was informative, leisurely and a pleasant experience.

We really enjoyed our walking tour with Laura. She was super friendly, answered all our questions, and told us lots of interesting facts that us locals had never heard before. We left feeling a lot closer to our city and its history.

Lots of fun facts on this short 45 min tour. Learned lots . Really enjoyed this and not taxing as attractions all very close . Highly recommend

We did the Waterford After Dark: Crime, Grime & Graveyard nighttime walking tour for Halloween. We loved it, our tour guides we amazing and it was great to learn about the darker side of the city.

This was a great way to see Waterford and learn its history in a reasonable and entertaining walking tour. The guide was informative and funny and you truly felt like you got the 1000 years of history in 1000 steps (as their add proclaims)!

Jamie was really informative in a relaxed fun atmosphere. Able to connect with all nationalities. Accessible for people either reduced mobility. Highly recommend this tour.

We had one full day in Waterford & and the information given to us by the ladies in the Bishop's Palace was superb. Jamie's tour of the Viking Triangle was brilliant, made very enjoyable by his witty personality. & great craic. From your friends from Belfast 😀
