Rafting Adventure on the Kicking Horse River

Our 24 year old daughter Meghan died of cancer last year. Her bucket list included horse backriding and white water rafting. Glacier gave us memories as we honoured our sweet MEMO.

Amazing rafting trip! We first signed up for the family tour (easier), but then we were offered to upgrade to the full tour and we're really happy we did! Guide Pete was an absolute blast and gave us the best laughs and amazing splashes! The lunch spot was really nice as well! Definitely recommend!

This was a fantastic fun experience. Would recommend it. We laughed and whooped the whole way down. Staff were excellent. Austin was a legend!

From the welcome, to the orientation, the outfitting, the guides and the rafting, of course, our trip was absolutely incredible. The property in Golden was easy to find, and a spectacular drive from Banff. The outfitting from head to toe was easy and assuring. Our guide Carlos was the best. He has guided rafting adventures all over the world; cannot imagine anyone more experienced and comforting. Although the Kicking Horse may not be as wild in September as it is in June, the rapids we experienced did not disappoint. A category 4 in September? Bliss. The lunch stop exceeded all expectations. Delicious burger, chips, salad and granola. Hanging out and getting to know our fellow rafting mates was a real bonus. And the photos and videos made available to us when we returned were exceptional. Do not just think about rafting with Glacier Raft Company. Book early, as soon as you can. Glad we did.

The whole experience was amazing! The rafting guide (nick) was very experienced and reassuring but also really fun. The rafting was such a buzz!! The day was tea well organised and the equipment was top notch!

Outstanding raft trip. I have some experience whitewater rafting and I can tell you these guys provide an exciting and safe experience. Our guide Nikko was knowledgeable about the area and the river. He did a great job of getting everyone on the raft involved in the fun.

We had such a fun time with this company on the kicking horse river. Took a group of 7 of us and we had the raft to ourselves which was nice. The rapids were actually really good compared to other tours I have done and our guide Dan was awesome!! We were laughing the whole time and they even helped us celebrate with a cold beer afterwards. The media packages they sell are also super cool, the guy gets some awesome shots. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something fun to do in the area!
