Marlin del Rey Catamaran Snorkel Sunset Cruise from Tamarindo or Playas del Coco

We had an excellent day. We had 16 people On our boat so it felt like we had a private tour. All of the staff and captain Dominic were amazing. Staff were friendly, boat was spotless and food was great. I would say a perfect day! We did the morning tour and we were glad we did as the rain came in just as we got off the boat! 10/10.

We had an amazing time on the Marlin del Rey catamaran tour! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, relaxing, and so much fun. The crew was incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure everyone was safe, comfortable, and having a great time. The atmosphere on board was lively and friendly, and we loved meeting and chatting with other travelers. Whether you’re looking to soak up the sun, explore marine life, or just enjoy a fun day out on the ocean, this tour checks all the boxes. Highly recommended!

The staff was friendly and attentive throughout the trip. The water was absolutely beautiful, and the snorkeling was amazing! The staff was very helpful with that, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. My sister wasn’t feeling well, and they kept checking on her, which I really appreciated. The food looked delicious, but I was hesitant to eat since I was a little nauseous myself. Don’t let that stop you though—we both have equilibrium issues that Dramamine only helps lessen. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and Rudy even added some fun by politely asking to photo bomb our pictures and TikTok video. Such a great memory!

Our family of 6 enjoyed this Sunset Cruise! The ride out to the cove was amazing. We were able to see a dolphin pair jumping around, sea turtles, and even caught sight of some kind of flying fish (looked like it ran on water). This was one of the highlights of our trip. It was relaxing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We recommend taking time to slow down and enjoy some time on the water!

Best boat and crew by far. Captain Andres was so nice and informative and really allowed us time to watch the dolphins. We have done other sunset tours in Coco and Flamingo, however, the best have always been Marlin. We have toured with them at least 15 times on the sunset cruise but we were finally able to do our 1st morning cruise so we drove from Flamingo to Tamarindo just to cruise with Marlin del Rey and They Didn't Disappoint! The Crew was so kind and attentive. They let us try to fish, did some dancing, the snorkeling guide was so helpful as well. The lunch was great as always! But....the Drinks...they are top quality and might I add, freshly made which makes a huge difference. Not pre-made punch. Thank you again Marlin Tres for another wonderful Marlin Del Rey trip. What a fun day with a great crew! The crew worked hard to find us marine life - we saw mating sea turtles and spotted a hump back whale from afar. Drinks were plentiful and they made sure our cups were never empty the entire time! The snorkel area was beautiful and there was time to swim or play on the beach if we got tired of snorkeling. Lunch is definitely a bit later than a typical lunch, so be sure to not come super hungry, but it was delicious! We sailed back to the drop location as we watched the sun set. We would definitely do this tour again!

Marlin del Rey and the crew are top notch. The boat is large and comfortable even with a larger group. Drinks flowed with options for both adults and kids, and the vibe was lively but not a booze cruise type crowd. Arriving at our private beach and snorkeling area, the crew dropped anchor and served up a delicious meal while we spent some time jumping off the boat and swimming in the crystal waters. Sail up, we cruised back to Tamarindo as the sunset. Highly recommend for all! A must do experience while visiting Costa Rica… Pura Vida!

The best!, snorkeling, food and drinks! Loved it all. I took my family with 15yo and 4yo,and both loved it! No complaints

A relaxing catamaran ride! The kids loved it. Native’s Way was very accommodating and picked us up one hour early so that we could explore Tamarindo before the cruise. This was our third excursion booked with the company. Each time we had Herison as our driver which made things even more comfortable.

This was such a fun Adventure! The crew Dominic ,Felipe ,Gilberth, Luis, Yeyco, and Daniel were all Great! Thanks for everything!
