We had Cecilia and Winston as our guides for the day. Both lovely people. Winston was the driver, very safe and conscientious. It was an action packed 4hrs. We covered some of the major Accra sites, which would have taken us days to navigate on our own. They are both very knowledgeable about the area. The talks were respectfully done. They had arranged one-on-one tours at several of the sites. We felt well cared for the entire day. We capped off the tour with a delicious lunch, best jollof rice and chicken we’ve had in Accra. They took us to a local restaurant. Overall 5 star treatment for the entire day. It was very laid back and chill. I enthusiastically recommend this tour! Many thanks to Cecilia and Winston!

Getting the chance to see Accra and explore the key points of this rich city was memorable. I loved every minute of my time. The photo ops were incredible. Going to Osu Castle and seeing the Door of No Return was touching. Realizing that Queen Elizabeth once slept in Osu Castle and that Barack Obama visited the same place I did was remarkable. The market was so much fun. Brace yourself if you decide to go. I liked the controlled chaos. Black Star Gate is essential for any visit to Accra. Just a great way to get to know such a vibrant city and culture.

Thoroughky recommend the Accra tour for a quick, but detailed whistle stop tour. My girl Ruth from Kaya Tours was the greatest! Very friendly, knowledgeable and couldn't do enough to make me feel at ease on the tour. Dr Kwame Nkrumah Park was amazing, shame you can't take pics inside, but still well worth it. Taking pics on top of Independence Square was an experience too. The Du Bois tour and The Musuem were also great, a lot of history in this country well worth exploring. Thanks Ruth for showing me the highlights of Accra 🇧🇴😊❤️!!!

Gilbert was so fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and went off the itinerary to show me other things I was interested in. He also paid for me to try some street food! I loved my tour and had no issues being a solo female traveller. Book here you won't regret it!

If you have a short amount of time to see Accra and want a guide to get you around and explain the history and culture, this is a great option.

This is a very pleasant experience. Our guide was Freedom, he was so kind and patient with us. He answered all our questions, he was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We booked this tour the day before and it was so easy. The company got in contact with us almost immediately to confirm everything. I’d recommend this to a friend or anyone I know traveling to Ghana. I was very happy to share and learn about the rich history of this country. We went to museums and national parks; all in a few hours. Thank you for a lovely experience; one we’ll remember forever.

We made a last minute reservation for this tour and we delighted to get immediate confirmation of availability. Emmanuel was our driver guide and he picked us up at our hotel - in a comfortable sedan. He talked with us briefly about his suggested plan for the day. He was happy to adjust plans based on our preferences. We had a great tour of Accra, visiting numerous interesting places. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Ghana, and provided us with excellent "on location" guides at several of the historic sites and museums. At the end of the tour we asked him about a convenient place to get great Ghanian food and he offered to take us to one and wait for us. Instead he called in an order, drove by to pick it up, and then took us to our hotel. Overall the half-day tour was exactly what we hoped for and we would highly recommend this tour, as well as our tour guide Emmanuel.

This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide Winston was very professional, nice, and knowledgeable about the history of Accra and Ghana. We loved all the stops we made, such as the W.E.B. DuBois Centre in Accra. We cannot recommend this tour highly enough. We are already booking our next tour with the same company.

I went on this tour as a solo traveler, and despite my insistence on not being touched or hit on, the tour guide made me feel uncomfortable and awkward for most parts. I had to get my husband to call the tour company and call the tour guide - even then, the tour guide became slightly hostile. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience.
