Its shear size requires stamina, but there are conveniently placed coffee stops en route, and it is all you would expect it to be. However, despite the size and variety of displays it was disappointing not to find a 'Sun fish', cuttlefish, or squid in residence, and no octopus, although I believe these are notoriously difficult to keep. All in all, it was a good visit with lots of walking and access for those with walking difficulties.

Good aquarium. There is 3 sections (2 long and 1 short). However did find that in one of the sections you looked into the same tank many times. However was great to see it from different angles. Worth a visit spent around 3 hours here. There is a car park couple of minutes away. Onsite shop and onsite restaurant.

One the best aquarium experiences in europe , beats sea life centres every time . The information and exhibits are many and if you read and watched evreything it is likely to take days to go round. As t was we spent nearly a day. The big tank is fascinating and relaxing and i could spend all day watching it

Overpriced for what it is. The big tank with sharks and ray is impressive. There were too many electronic screens showing animals rather than real fish - if I wanted to see fish on tv, I could stay at home! The shark route is clear but the man and tides route is illogical. It was a nice morning but not good value. We paid 100 euros for a family of 4 and I expected more for that money. We arrived at 9:30am on a Sunday and people were already queuing. It was busy but I wouldn’t say crowded at that time. We could see all we wanted to see with patience. I would recommend people see it once, but I wouldn’t go again.

First of all, this is a very impressive aquarium and clearly they're doing great works. Sadly though, it's really complicated and illogical. Lastly, a visit in August is absolutely sure to result in an unpleasant experience (as we found). If you are a rugby player and don't mind scrumming down with a thousand buggies and (literally) screaming kids, then you will enjoy this. We came on a Monday morning in August and I wish I had saved my money. Two others who visited today said the same thing. In conclusion, visit when it's not holiday season!

Very crowded and so really couldn’t see much and you feel crammed in as there are numerous bottlenecks in the display areas. Also expensive.

This aquarium is quite high standard, there is definitely place for improvement, but for being the largest aquarium it is well managed. It is interactive and the fish are all attractive. The mangrove/climate change areas are the most interesting in my opinion. In conclusion, it is an interesting aquarium which is good for all ages.

Great attraction for when the weather is poor. Good accessibility for a wheelchair user. Enjoyable time spent, had a break in the coffee shop which was ok, service could have been improved. Pre book the tickets for a slight discount

Absolutely the best aquarium in Europe, possibly the world. The variety of animals and education here is incredible with a clear message of responsibility and learning. The "Journey of the High Seas" section was my personal favourite, with each display being large, clean, and mesmerising. The "Mankind and Shores" section was also good fun and probably more suited to children, with interactive touching pools, and sea lion shows. The only disappointing part is the Penguins. In comparison to other zoos/aquariums, these penguins were filthy, smelled terrible, and were not enjoying their enclosure. This was my second visit to Nausicaa and certainly won't be the last!
